History tidbit: If you search the property on internet maps, you will notice odd curved and straight imagines in the ground. Some look like a Christmas tree ornament! Those are actually concrete strips. Our location was home to the original Cantrell Skeet and Trap Shoot, founded in 1970. The gun club was closed decades ago and the property changed owners until almost 25 years ago. When we arrived! the current bike shed is an add on to the only still standing clay target "pigeon" tower.
Other things to note:
Guests must climb small sets of steps at front and back entrances to access house.
MMC is part of a hobby horse-farm with potential for noise (mostly on weekend days), and activity as horses are fed each evening.
The rural area also means no streetlights and relatively darkness; a security light and abundant lighting in the parking area and door entrance are provided.
Blink cameras are installed at parking area.
This is a rural wilderness setting with such wildlife as skunks, snakes and deer, and insects. Coyotes can also sometimes be heard at a distance. We have an exterminator service on a regular schedule, but due to country setting, you may experience occasional pests.
