About this property

Cozy Cabin with Hot Tub, Fireplace & Fenced Yard

Rainbow House is a comfy 2 bedroom gambrel cabin centrally located with all the home amenities you need for a memorable mountain getaway. A quick walk to SnowPlay, the Farmers Market and Oktoberfest. A 7-min drive to the Village, slopes, lake, stores, or zoo. Your perfect place to call home after an adventure filled day around town. Make your favorite meal, relax in the hot tub, enjoy s'mores by the outdoor fire pit or stay in and cozy up with a hot cocoa & movie by the fireplace. Welcome home!

Rainbow House is a 2 story, 2 bedroom and 1 full bath gambrel style cabin in a serene mountain getaway, perfect for 4-6 guests. You'll love the central location to the slopes, the Village, grocery stores and the lake. The cabin has been recently updated to create a modern space that is comfortable, relaxing and fun while making sure to preserve the cozy "cabin vibe" for you to enjoy.

Rainbow House is equipped with all the comforts of home. As you walk in, you will be greeted by an open floor plan with the kitchen, living room with a brick fireplace and the full bathroom on the first floor, perfect for entertaining. The luxurious sofa in the living room opens up to a queen sleeper.

As you walk up the flight of stairs, on the second floor you will find two bedrooms that are designed to help you relax and recharge. Guests rave about the comfy beds and pillows that will ensure you have a restful sleep. Take in the pine skyline views as you lay in bed. Blankets, pillows and throws are in all lounge spaces. All that is missing is you and your cup of coffee or hot cocoa on a lazy afternoon.

The primary bedroom offers a king bed with treelined views from the balcony. It's also equipped with a designated work area next to the balcony where you can open up the doors and enjoy the fresh mountain breeze.

The guest bedroom includes bunk beds featuring a full-size bottom bunk, twin-size top bunk, and a twin-size pull out trundle bed. You can also find a Graco pack-n-play, highchair, plus sanitized baby & toddler toys for our littlest guests stored in the guest bedroom closet.

Both bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans, AC wall units, wall heaters as well as blackout curtains, lounge chairs and extra blankets and bedding.

When you're ready to enjoy the fresh mountain air, make your way to the backyard where you can relax in the new hot tub or settle in on an Adirondack chair next to the fire pit to roast marshmallows for s'mores in the completely fenced in yard. During the winter months there are sleds available for use during your stay.

For spring, summer and fall months enjoy the BBQ, or dine outside on the back deck. Check out the back porch swing. It is one of our favorite places to relax with a good book.

Rainbow House has always been a family home and is being rented out in hopes that more families will make lifelong memories like those we have made here.

We booked a girls trip to this cute and cozy cabin. The amenities were great. The cabin was clean and fresh smelling. They even provided plenty of coffee and the makings for smores. We had a great time in the jacuzzi and the fireplace just added to the coziness. The owners made it super easy to check in for this first time property renter. We'll be back! Thanks again!

Awesome cabin
After a day of snow play and exploring the city. We arrived at the cabin and enjoyed some time in the jucuzzi. We loved how cozy the cabin felt. The cabin offered plenty of beds for the 5 of us and the cabin was super kid friendly and pet friendly. This cabin stay made our trip very memorable and we can’t wait to plan another trip to big bear. Strongly recommend this cozy cabin !
