Liked: Communication, location, listing accuracy
Great house, good location, a few minor issues
The good: We stayed here to go skiing nearby. The house is roomy and comfy. The added room above the garage is a nice overflow. It is located on the other side of the mountain from Sugar mountain lodge and a 10 minute drive to skiing. The house has a full kitchen that is well stocked with things you need to cook (pots, pans, utensils, etc). We had access to keep both cars in the garage and there are shelves and benches in the garage to keep the ski gear to let them drip dry as needed. The house has a great room (combined living, dining) that made great for a family hangout location. Beds are comfortable and everybody slept well. The bad: We had issues with check in and cleaning. The cleaning person had car issues and couldn't be there in time for 4pm check in, so we were pushed back to 6. We arrived at 6 and the house still hadn't been cleaned but we came in anyway. The service did drop off sheets and things but we had to strip the beds and clean the floors. Whoever was there before either had a secret pet with them or brought a lot of fur in their clothes. Swept up a lot of fur and had some allergy issues. Other: The listing does not mention that the driveway is pretty steep and can get slick if there is snow. If it is snowing you really need a 4x4 vehicle to get all the way up. That should have been a little more prominent in the listing.

Amazing cozy mountain cabin
Very nice cabin, nice and cozy. Very well stocked kitchen with everything you might need. the only thing that was missing for us is grill and outdoor fire place. the backyard is fenced and has outdoor furniture. That would be great to have fire with wood to enjoy outdoor. Great location as well, on top of Sugar Mountain. Grocery store is 7 minutes down the hill, lots of attractions in the vicinity. Would love to come back again!
