About the host

Hosted by Teresa Coleman

Host profile image
I was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area and can truly appreciate an up north get away with family/friends. This is one reason why I, along with my husband and cousin, decided to purchase this home in Roscommon. I strive to provide the best home away from home experience available.
I am also a travel agent who provides full service vacation booking both foreign and domestic so I know how important it is for travelers to be able to decide dates and location without having to worry about all the fine details. Ask me anything! If I don't know the answer, I will find out!

Why they chose this property

The area has that up north quiet which I love. It's that natural hush where the birds can be heard along with the sound of the trees blowing in a slight breeze. You don't have that loud, party atmosphere of the downtown areas when you're trying to unwind or sleep, but if you want excitement it's just a short drive away.

What makes this property unique

I am a host who genuinely cares about the experience of my guests. This home isn't a wealth builder or income provider. I work hard outside of hosting. For me, hosting is all about providing the best home away from home experience I can. This is the only rental home we have which allows me to focus on continually maintaining a high level service to our guests. Many of the hosts in this area have multiple properties which reduces each home to an income producing part of their overall portfolio. I feel this takes away from the personal touch.
