Beautiful Home, Poor Communication
Overall the cabin was great, clean, functional and a great location. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway weekend. The owner however was not response upon our arrival and did not send check-in information which resulted being in the phone with VRBO for over an hour to get a response. The deck, and the fire put out back are awesome. There was adequate cooking Utensils. One of the big sharp knives was about to fall apart and not safe for use. One of the grills is completely broken. The other grill still works, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the bottom rots out of it soon. Be prepared to exchange a propane tank because they clearly do not check. They had 3 propane tanks. 2 were barely full. The other was covered with grease and nasty because the grill bottom had fallen apart when someone was cooking. We had to move a nasty propane tank around to be able to use the half empty propane tank after the little bit left in the other two ran out just to be able to cook one meal. They only supplied 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 trash bags, and limited toilet paper. There is no soap or shampoo in the showers. The owner also proceeded to charge our group $100 for a pet fee after our departure even though we didn’t bring any animals to the property. Terrible communication skills/completely unresponsive.
