A pool in Alaska? Amazing!
Overall this place was amazing! The finishings were beautiful, the property was in a convenient location and the pool house was incredible for the kids!
We stayed here with 5 adults and 2 kids. The bedroom layout was perfect for us. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs (one king, one queen, and one double bunkbed room). There is one bedroom on the main floor.
The kids slept in the bunkbed room and had so much fun with the bunks, the tv in their room and of course the pool with every single pool toy you can think of! Their favorite was the volleyball net. The poolhouse also has a bathroom with a shower. The beds are all very comfortable.
We had a couple of issues during our stay and the owners were very responsive and fixed the issues right away.
A couple things to note that would have been good to know in the listing:
- there is a suite attached to the house that has someone living there. He was very nice, but it was just a surprise.
- when the owners are topping up the pool, there is no water pressure in the house. They seemed to top it up every couple of days.
- the pool has its own booking site, so make sure to ask the owners to remove it from that booking site if you don't want to share it with other bookings. We asked for that and were assured nobody else would be there, but there was a party right before our check in and also they advised when we arrived that there was a booking on the day after we checked in that they couldn't move.
