Disappointed
Communication with the Owner was sub-par at best as I had to instigate all communication regarding the check-in process as the date grew closer (within 2 days of checking in). We asked for an early check-in (1pm rather than 4pm) and they said the earliest they could accommodate was 3pm). I didn't get the code or check-in information until 30 minutes before arrival which was 3:10pm.
The house was VERY hot and the thermostat showed 83 deg. I contacted the Owner and asked for assistance in programming the thermostat. Hours later, they asked for a photo of the thermostat which I sent, but we never heard back, ever. The house never cooled down during our stay and we had to move the gathering outside for the remainder of the first evening since it was cooler outside. Mind you our stay was April 20 - 22 when the high was 89 deg.
We noticed there was a BBQ but the propane tank was empty. When I asked about its use and a spare tank, the owner said I should go buy a tank for them. We own a STR and we know that it is mandatory to provide not only a tank for every BBQ and fire pit, but to also have a spare on-hand. Asking us pay for materials or goods for his rental was unconscionable.
As part of the "Welcome" email, the Owner asked us to take his trash out since it was trash day the day after our checkout. The trash was already full from the previous renters.
Lastly, there was NO frying pan.

We won't stay here again.
