About the host
Hosted by Lindsay Bennett
My husband and I reside in Virginia Beach, however this property is where our hearts are. We fell in love with this very special place, and we want to share it with families to make unforgettable memories. We own a restaurant in Norfolk, Va, so we love the hospitality industry and ensuring folks have a great experience.
Why they chose this property
This 20 acre property is truly a piece of paradise. It's a perfect place when you just want to get away from it all and focus on what's most important; time spent with loved ones with no interruption. The property faces south, so you get amazing sun rises and sunsets. We also get incredible trade winds off the Sound, which makes even the hottest of days quite enjoyable and relaxing! Let's not forget the night sky. Find all the constellations lying on our lounge chairs at night breathing in the fresh air and relaxing in the trade winds. It's quite spectacular!
What makes this property unique
We have a 3 acre wild blueberry field. Some of these bushes are 20 years old! Blueberry season is late May-mid August, so if you stay with us during that time period, you are welcome to pick the most delicious berries. You will also find Scuppernong grapes, persimmons, and pear trees on the property.
