Welcome to the Shandelee Brook House, our picturesque 1930’s capecod style cottage nestled in the heart of the Catskills, where tranquility meets modern comfort. Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, all while enjoying the amenities of a thoughtfully designed retreat as well as the lovely town of Livingston Manor.

The Space:
Upon entering, pass through the vestibule and the beautiful original door and find a space that is inviting, bright and exudes cottage charm. While the house is fully updated, the handbuilt historic woodwork and gleaming original floors, and the cozy fireplace transport you to another time and provide a cozy escape. The living room is stylish yet comfy and equipped with a tv for streaming, as well as fun books and games. There is a sunroom with a nook to read or write. The living room, dining room and kitchen join through large arched doorways that elegantly create a sense of flow and warmth. The adjoining kitchen and dining area beckon guests with the clean lines, cool colors and table that seats eight. Have your morning coffee while the dear mosy past the kitchen window, or dim the lights at night and have a lovely candle lit dinner.

Bedrooms:
Sleeps eight soundly in four well-appointed bedrooms, each thoughtfully decorated and designed with your comfort in mind. Wake up to the soothing sounds of the brook just outside your window and breathe in the fresh mountain air. The primary suite offers a king-sized bed, en suite bathroom and a private deck overlooking the woods and brook.

Kitchen:
For those who love to cook, please enjoy our fully equipped kitchen. In the evenings, gather around the table for a dinner with friends and family. There is ample room to host with the dining table that seats 8 and all the amenities necessary to make your hospitality shine.

Outdoors:
The house sits alongside a babbling brook, creating a serene backdrop for outdoor activities. Relax on the deck with a cup of coffee as you listen to the sounds of nature. The sprawling lawn is perfect for games and picnics, and a fire pit invites you to gather under the stars for s'mores and storytelling. You can also enjoy the hot tub and take in the views. We walk our pups in the woods whenever we can!
