Had a wonderful stay!
They did a great job of restoring this caboose and making it a great little getaway for those who love trains and want a cozy little place trackside to watch. So much interesting things to see and do around here, the caboose was filled with interesting pictures, books, and even a radio scanner to listen to the train crews. There was a beautiful deck to watch the trains passing by, and a comfortable bed to sleep in at night. We will definitely return!

Train enthusiasts!
What an amazing place to stay if you are a fan of trains. This 1955 Caboose has been beautifully restored! It is located overlooking the train tracks, and you are treated to different trains making their way through the area. The caboose is very clean, and their eye to detail is amazing! A very unique, relaxing and fun stay! The owners are very friendly, easy to work with! We will be returning!

Absolutely loved our stay here and will be back!
They did an amazing job rennovating this caboose into a cozy get away. The location is incredible with the view of the mountains, passing trains, and wildlife. Everything was above and beyond our expectations. While the caboose puts you just far away from everything for a nice retreat but all the shops and restaurants in town were just a short drive away. My family had an awesome time staying here and we cant recommend it enough. We will definitely be back in the summer!

The definition of perfection
What an exceptional restoration of this caboose. Everything you can want/need is put into this build with love, sweat, and dedication. I can’t express how thankful I am to the owners for letting the public share this once in a lifetime experience. I have never stayed in a caboose until now. It has a full bathroom, shower, kitchen, dining table, sleeping for 4. The views are immaculate, the trains are awesome if you are a Railfan. And when all the doors and windows close you can’t really hear the horn if you want some shuteye. So that is a bonus. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for something different, fun, adventurous, and not in a boring basic hotel. 5 stars.

Growing up around trains with my dad being the influencer, the caboose was my favorite part of the train. Now living next to one of the busier railroad main lines in the country (Union Pacific owned, BNSF shared) ,my wife and I owning our own Caboose idea came to mind when a local short-line was selling off some of their rolling stock. Ex-Union Pacific CA-6 Caboose #25322 built in September of '55 spent most of its working career in Kansas, Colorado, Utah And Idaho.
We couldn't have imagined having our own caboose, but as the wheels start spinning (no pun intended), the idea snow balled into a reality. Initial intent was to do an exterior make-over to bring it back to life. Well, that simple idea didn't last very long as friends would come over suggesting how the location, nostalgia, and the many others out there from all ages with the same railroad interest, -'This has to be shared!' So the complete overhaul began to what we can now offer as a comfortable, relaxing stay to create memories with family of friends.
