About this property

A tranquil retreat right in the heart of Squamish

Nestled amongst trees at the end of the trail, this 1940's wooden rancher is a getaway from modern life - while still enjoying good wifi. Enjoy a beer on the deck while watching climbers on the Chief at sunset: this is a unique and tranquil getaway. This is one of the oldest houses in Downtown Squamish and retains all its original settler charm while still being a short walk from downtown amenities, restaurants, shops and markets. Room to store hire equipment.

This wooden cabin has two bedrooms, one en suite, a main bathroom, a kitchen, dining area and living area. The main living space is open plan so your group can stay connected. It has a private sun deck and a covered lean-to so you can still enjoy your coffee outside if the Pacific Northwest weather comes in!

Own front door and parking space. Very private, fully screened by trees from the front.

+ Minutes to downtown eateries. Even less to the brewpub and cliffside cidery.
+ waterfront property backs onto the best trail access of downtown.
+ Cozy space with Smart Tv (with Crave and Nelflix logged in) plus board games for those rainy west coast days.

We live on the property but always wish our guests to have all the privacy they might desire!

The cabin is waterfront and next to a wide network of picturesque estuary trails. It is right in the heart of the oldest area of downtown Squamish and has all the best Squamish has to offer. We are within a short walk of downtown Squamish (a 5-minute stroll). Here you will find all the local amenities: Bars, restaurants, eateries, ice cream, coffee shops, and a farmer's market. In the summer the local central Pavillion Parks host many family-friendly festivals featuring music, food, films, and much more! Squamish has become a standalone must-visit location all of its own: Canada's very own 'Outdoor Adventure Capitol' The quality of the outdoor adventures available here are world-class!: -Climbing and hiking on the chief (the huge granite dome that dominates the town!) -Incredible mountain bike, dirt bike and trails bike networks. -Kite surfing, wing foiling, and windsurfing in the sound. -Paddleboarding and sea kayaking. -Bouldering in the magical forests! -Backcountry skiing and snowboarding. -Sledding (snowmobiles) -Fishing -Mountain Hikes and sightseeing -4WD adventures Wildlife abounds here with many bears, otters, sea eagles, salmon runs, and seals all sharing the landscape. We are also a short distance away from Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Bike and Ski Resort. Dogs are welcome and note we also have dogs on the property! Please no smoking inside the property!

We’re located 3 minutes off Highway 99 in the heart of downtown Squamish in a quiet 2 house cul de sac with private off-street parking right at the estuary trailhead. We are within walking distance from some great bars, eateries, and restaurants as well as all the town shopping amenities. There is a network of buses to visit the local shopping areas but having a vehicle will open up a world of opportunity, as Squamish has become a must-visit location for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. In the locale, you can hire mountain bikes at the Adventure Centre just across Highway 99 and stand-up paddle boards or sea kayaks from Valhalla Pure by Nesters. Ski/snowboard rentals are also available. It is a leisurely 45-minute drive to the closest gondola of the world-famous Whistler Blackcomb Ski resort! In the summer Aerial Kiteboarding school operates from just up the street, providing lessons and rentals.

Perfect long weekend
Had an awesome stay at this cute cabin! Located right by the Estuary Trail, it was the perfect mix of peaceful nature while still being less than a 5-minute walk from a great coffee (or a crisp cider). Check-in was easy and the cabin is beautiful - so many amazing, original features. Hope we can make it back!
