We booked this home for a family weekend/celebration. We never received info on how to access the property prior to arrival, so we texted once on the island. After a bit of a delay, we were informed the house was not ready for us yet, as they did not know we were coming. An offer was made to pay for our dinner while they cleaned it. We did not need to take them up on this, as we already had dinner plans, so we just accessed the property and put our stuff down before leaving for the ceremony. The house was a wreck, with beds unmade from the prior occupants, kitchen dirty, trash still in all bins. We returned five hours later to find the house seemingly very clean. However, when we went to bed, our bed sheets were notably dirty. There was hair, eye lashes, dirt, and body fluids on the sheets. I texted the property manager and advised her of the dirty sheets. We were told to change them using sheets in bunk room. All we could find were twins, so we stripped the bed and used them the first night. The next day, I requested housekeeping to come change the bed with properly fitting sheets. They never came, but that evening I found a bag with sheets in the driveway. Thanks?? After that, the manager ghosted me. I am still waiting on the offered refund of 15% off of our second night and a refund of the cleaning fee. I touched base a week later with no response again. I hope the owner reads this. You have a beautiful house and need better management.
