As Anguilla is small, nothing is too far away. As well as the above very nearby suggestions, there is also Prickly Pear island, Sand Island, Saint Martin & Saint Barths for day trips. Sunset or all day sailing on the Tradition Sail boat is highly recommended. Anguilla water sports rents out small sail boats and paddle boards. There are many sunken shipwrecks for divers to explore. Beginners diving classes are also available for first timers.

Wonderful Villa with an Incredible View
This property is situated above a rugged coastline. Upon opening the front door, the view is of crashing waves against the rocks below. It's spectacular. The villa is located on the quieter side of the island. We rented a car so it wasn't a big deal. We were about 20-30 minutes from the resort part of the island. It was fun driving around (on the opposite side of the road) and getting to know the different areas. Mary Pat is a very responsive and kind hostess. She and her husband have a restaurant down the road from the villa which is AMAZING! We ate there on Christmas Eve and had one of the top dinners we've ever had (and we're foodies). We loved it so much, we ate there again on our last night. We had a much needed vacation with rest and relaxation.

Perfect Honeymoon
We spend 10 days in seclusion at the most beautiful spot. We felt like we were alone in the world. We only went out when we had to. Mary-Pat was the best host. She made sure we had everything we needed. A trip we will never forget

The Hibernia Experience is everything and more.....
This place is ridiculously beautiful and we couldn't ask for a better host than Mary Pat. She followed up with us multiple times making sure we were good and didn't need anything. The house itself is really cool and fully equipped. She thought of everything like masks, fins, binoculars, books, Bluetooth speaker. Kitchen is well stocked. The view is incredible, the reefs are amazing. The restaurant is right up the road and it is amazing as well. I definitely recommend the Hibernia Experience. For us, there are too many places in the world to go to one twice but this might be the one. We will be back!

I am Irish born. I moved to Anguilla with my French husband in 1987, . In 1995 we built the Villa as our own home.
In 2014 we decided to turn our home in to a holiday villa. Because we had built it as our own home, it is well designed for this climate, private and breezy.
We live very close by, so we are always available to take care of your every need.

Why they chose this property

After living in Anguilla for 8 years, we felt it was time to build our own home.
When we were offered the plot of land, we knew it was an opportunity not to be missed. Extraordinary views, gentle breezes and lots of private space. The perfect location!

What makes this property unique

We started to build the Villa in 1995 and we can really say that we only finished the project in 2015. Meaning that we have put a lot of thought into every detail to make it perfect! Since we also own an art gallery, we have tastefully decorated the place with beautiful art works, as well as stone and hand-made tiles. The verdant gardens have many mature trees.
