The unit consists of an entrance hall, one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and ample storage, a living/dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom. The rooms are light and airy with ceiling fans and central air-conditioning and the kitchen is well equipped with excellent appliances, including its own washer and dryer. The living room has sliding glass doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the water! The apartment itself is newly refurbished, well equipped and a perfect home from home.

The apartment is located in the sought after Lucaya area of Freeport, just a short walk from beautiful Coral Beach and only one mile from Port Lucaya Marketplace with its lively atmosphere, colourful shops and restaurants to suit every taste and pocket.. It is also walking distance from an excellent golf course. There is free parking on site and a bus stop just steps away from the complex entrance.

Great Time at Villa Martinique
We stayed at Villa for one month during the Covid Pandemic. we were supposed to be there longer but our government forced our return home with astronomical fins. that being said. our time at the Villa Martinique was amazing the best beach of the Island is 500meters away. Lucaya market is 1.5 km walk away, for groceries 3k, walkable in less than half an hour. The Test clinic for COVID19 is also 2.8k away. In other words, The location was great and the apartment was clean with a great balcony for dining outside Pat was very helpful and helped us settle in when we arrived and provided bicycles that we used throughout our stay. Note that the island is still recovering from the 2019 hurricane and COVID is not helping at all... When we were there water consumption from the tap was not recommended so we had to purchase gallons of water. but I believe the situation will soon be resolved. Pat help us find a lad that brought water on a regular basis for a few dollars Overall great stay and would stay there again in a heart beat. .

Lovely apartment in a great location! Near beautiful quiet beach with a pool and dock on the canal.
Well maintained property, convenient location to beaches and shoppIng. Hosts were friendly and helpful, sharing local tips to personalize our stay with authentic Bahamian things to do and see. The apartment had a lovely island breeze flowing through it’s many windows with lots of natural light and palm trees rustling in the breeze. A great place to relax and enjoy island life!

Good stay overall; but some need to know info provided here
The hospitality upon arrival was super nice. The owner, Ivan, was nice to drop me off at the nearby shops to pick up some needed items for my stay. The property is very nice, clean, and comfortable, with a superb view of the waterway. However, in fairness to others looking to rent this property, be aware that it is offered at such a “great” rate because the owners discourage use of any utilities (air, water, electricity, etc) during your stay. Also, you will be expected to check out by 8am on day of departure, far earlier than any hotel or resort on the island or anywhere else for that matter (I was practically kicked out on last day by Pat, who was not near as hospitable as Ivan). So do not schedule any late departing flights if staying here. Also, a rental car is advised for getting around, especially if you want to enjoy the nightlife in Freeport. Otherwise you will be walking (tipsy) in the dark or paying minimum of $22 one-way Taxi fares. I think the owners should disclose why they are able to keep their rates so low, instead of springing it upon the customers upon arrival. Most people gravitate towards deals because they are “deals”, and they are not expected to sacrifice any comforts, such as air, water, gas, to take advantage of the advertised deal. They should also make clear their expected check-out times. However, in spite of the slight bad experience with check out, and not being able to shower or use the air, at will, I enjoyed my stay at the rental and in Freeport.
