I hesitate writing the immaculate review I want to write because then this amazing property may have less availability! The property manager was available and informative. The property was perfectly set up for renters in every way. Five stars. Thank you!

Family vacation
Family vacation with our 3 grown children and their families… 8 adults and 6 kids total. We had a great time…plenty of room and the lounge in the basement was a great room to hang out at night after kids were settled. It was very clean lots of outside seating. Should be told about lawn care company coming…we happened to have planned a day trip so we’re leaving when they came but had we planned a barbecue and day at the house it would have been very inconvenient. Also the beach was next door and not in front of the house as expected but still nice. All in all it was a great house and would recommend/stay again. 😊

A perfect place with amazing views of Lake Huron
We loved loved loved this house. The location is perfect and working with Denise was extremely easy. We moved from Michigan to New York 15 years ago and wanted to show our kids Lake Huron and all the thumb has to offer. We celebrated our twins 16th birthday while reconnecting with friends and family after a long time apart. Everything was just perfect. We mostly loved the sunrise and sunset views on the lake. We're already talking to Denise about returning in the future to celebrate graduation.

Impeccsble
The home and surroundings are always very clean and welcoming. We have been vacatiomning in Caseville and renting since 1977. This by far feels like home away from home. The property manager, Denise, is a pleasure to talk to We look forward to seeing her every year.

Why they chose this property

This lakeside retreat was built in 1951 on a 290 foot lake front lot. The main house was 2300 square feet on the ground level with a full walk out basement and finished 'attic'. They had a 2 car detached garage with an upstairs 1 bedroom apartment for the caretaker. Next to the garage was their 2 bedroom guest house. The entire complex was featured in Better Homes & Gardens magazine in the early 1950's. In 1959 the property was divided and sold. The main house was closed up tight with no one spending a night there for over 10 years. The guest house went through a succession of owners. I purchased the guest house in 2010 and spoke to the owners of the main house and bought that in 2011. So late in 2011 the original estate was reunited. When I bought the beach house it was basically unchanged since the early 50's. With fresh paint, new siding and insulation, new windows, carpets removed, new plumbing and heating, updated appliances, and new furniture the home has been transformed. It is once again a lovely lakeside retreat. I love this area as I came and vacationed here all my life. I have family members who also own cottages in the area and it is a great place to be. The beaches, the lake and people in this area are wonderful and unique.

What makes this property unique

The main level offers a 17 x 21 sun room which adjoins the living room. Leading out from the French doors is a 10 x 20 lakefront deck that offers the most breathtaking views from all angles. Almost every room from this level offers lake views that change by the hour! The lower level has an enclosed sun porch for the perfect place to drink your morning cup of coffee, read, or look at the spectacular views. The backyard (road side) is like being in the woods with all the pine trees and green grass. The lake is just steps out your front door and easily accessible. You have the best of both worlds; woods and the lake!
