Peace and quiet
Our first time vacationing in a cabin on the mountains. Our daughter recommended this property since her and her husband had stayed there several years ago. It was cozy and peaceful.

Great Cabin Getaway
The property is exactly what you'd imagine it to be seeing it online. I'd say it even exceeded the expectations I had for it.

Great Location
Cuddly Bears Hideaway was a great place to stay! Very cozy and secluded and very close to all Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge activities. Very clean and check in process was easy. Only recommendation would be to have some kinda of cleaner to clean the kitchen countertops while we are there. Overall, loved this place!

Awesome visit for the second year straight
We stayed at this cabin once this time last year and loved it again, very comfy and easy to get to with the directions from the gps. Not far from downtown gatlinburg and plenty of places to eat, very quiet and private cabin, we came for our wedding anniversary and will definately be back to visit again this time next year. Everything in the cabin is exactly how it is in each picture, also has wifi and cable thanks again for the rental

LOVED IT
My honey and I went for New Years. It was so cozy! The cabin is equipped with everything needed for a romantic get away. It's secluded enough for privacy but close enough to enjoy the town and sites. I'm a lover of baths and soft beds so this was heaven for me. My other half on the other hand didn't like the bed because it was to soft BUT he loved the view from the bed! It was breathe taking. The fridge makes a weird noise at night that sounds like someone shaking a door but you eat use to it after the first night! Defiantly coming back.

Could have been a 5 star
This was not our first stay in a vrbo so expectations were compared to others. The location is absolutely perfect as it's far enough away from both towns but close enough to run the trip twice during the day for meals and entertainment. It was private enough. Only heard neighbors while unloading car on Friday evening. The owner could easily spend $150 to make this a five star. 1. The "DVD" player is just up in the bedroom so the large tv in the living room is honestly just decor. $25 at Walmart could fix this. 2. Lamps with no light bulbs - enough said ($10) 3. Items such as oven mitts in the kitchen - at one point we were pulling out a pizza with the wash cloth from the bathroom ($10) 4. The "cleaning" team hasn't scrubbed the toilets in I'm not sure how long. It takes a while to make a ring in a toilet and both were left that way- as well as the shower needs a good scrubbing on the bottom. Other than that and the beam not being dusted the cleanliness was great 5. The exterior could be cleaned up a bit, as well as the decorations like the welcome bear is broken into pieces- just throw it away! Per other reviews- there is no house phone, and when I asked the owner didn't respond. The hot tub only has 3 working jets. And I would suggest bringing more towels. Price is right. Location is spot on. And overall it was a great place to stay. Just needs some love and attention.

Many things not as advertised
We went to the cabin expecting to find what was advertised, but were disappointed with many discrepancies. "Stereo" is a boom box with a broken antenna that wouldn't bring in any channels. "Ice maker" was there but didn't work and we didn't know this until we were already there. "Blow dryer" was not there and I wasn't happy to get out of the shower to discover there was no blow dryer. "Local phone" was not available. "Hot tub" only had 2 or 4 jets working. "Satellite and plenty of movies" meant no satellite box and 4 movies.

Very clean and nice, but
The cabin looks exactly like the picture. It was very clean and seemed to be very well kept. When we arrived at the cabin, we had a slight issue because someone had cut branches on some trees and left them in the driveway so that it was completely blocked. However, upon one call to the manager the situation was handled without any snags or problems at all! He was very kind and helpful, especially since the cut branches were not from his property! One issue that we had was that this cabin does not have WiFi (which was an oversight on my part). Also, it only had one dvd player on one of the TVs and it did not have netflix, Direct TV, or cable of any kind. I believe in the listing of the cabin, it claims to have a Direct TV and there certainly is a dish and remote for it, but there was no Direct TV box to my knowledge. So, if you have kids that watch TV like mine do, take this into account. Another notable situation we encountered was a sound that occurred off and on throughout the night. It sounded like someone was shaking the back door, or trying to get it open. My husband and I barely slept while we were there because we were up searching for the cause of this sound. It's quiet loud and, on the second night, scared our child so that she wouldn't sleep either. Like I said, I have no idea what the sound was, but it warrants being looked into because it is very disturbing.

Amazint experience
The cabin was awesome, looks exactly like the picture .... we will definitely be coming back to visit this fall. This was our first experience in a cabin and it will not be our last, roads were steep but that's expected for a cabin, called the owner when we couldn't find the road and the directions they gave us took us right to the cabin. Highly recommended.

Rocky Start -- Nice Stay
My husband and I chose this cabin for its seclusion. Let me begin by saying that we had a very nice time here. I will just give a rundown of our experience. Up until three days before our arrival date we had not been contacted with our key code. After inquiring through a couple of emails and texts, I was called with the information. Upon arrival at the cabin, however, the code did not work. Another contact with the manager was necessary. As we were preparing to text, a truck pulled in the drive and informed us that we had no water in the cabin. So there we stood...no key code/entry, and no prior information that the water was off in the cabin. We were given a different key code which allowed us to enter, but without water, we headed to town. Because we rented on a holiday (July 4), the chances of another room being available would have been slim. As things turned out, after two repair people came out to work on the water...it came on just as we returned to the cabin. Because of the water snafu, the hot tub was not filled and was cold. The manager walked my husband through filling it again and instructed him to turn the electricity back on. Since the water was not tested for chemical balance, I would not use the hot tub. That was a disappointment, as I had never used one before and it was one reason we chose a cabin. On a positive note: The jetted heart-shaped tub in the loft has a beautiful view and was so relaxing. We enjoyed it very much. I don't know if the paper towels, dishwashing liquid, soft soap, and toilet paper is normally stocked or those items were left from the last guests, but they were in the cabin. There were only a couple of towels. Not enough, so I am glad we brought our own. There is a land line phone in the cabin, which was nice in case of an emergency. If dishes are used, you are asked to run the dishwasher. I did not see any dishwasher pods. The driveway is very, very steep. The road leading to the cabin is very curvy. Although it is secluded, there is a cabin located to each side of it...but far enough away and positioned so...that if you are on the porch you are still private. The view from the porch/upstairs loft is very nice...know that it is not a sweeping mountain view. There are trees blocking that view, so a partially obstructed mountain view would be accurate. A suggestion I would make is to invest in another TV box so that each TV can play a different program.

Cabin Nice, HOT TUB HORRIBLE, LIED TOO, HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT and OWNERS
As I'm sitting here in this cabin now it's awful and I WILL NEVER rent from them again!!!!We were lied to and told this cabin was not far off the beaten path and that the roads weren't that bad. Roads are horrible!!!! The inside of the cabin is nice. Hot tub is so old and raggedy. That was the whole reason we rented the cabin was to have a hot tub. The jets are wide open and splash water out. It's just OLD! Mangement is very hateful and not friendly. Won't even let you speak to the owners! Since I wasn't happy and was lied to about the cabin I asked for a refund and was told no! I will not ever recommend this cabin nor any of their others because of how rude and poor management and owners are. Now our vacation with our little one sucks because we have to stay somewhere we are not happy with thanks to management!

Great cabin!
This cabin is very private and nicely furnished. My wife and I rented this cabin for our 18th anniversary and we couldn't be more pleased. It's far enough away from town to get away from the crowds but not too far to be inconvienient. We have been coming to Gatlinburg for 18 years now and this cabin is our favorite of all we have rented in the past.
