SunGlade West is a beautiful 3 story home right on the beach. Only steps away to splash in the gulf. The beach is your back yard!

SunGlade West now has availability to rent both sides. East and West. Each side is a mirror image. This VRBO site is the amount for one side (5 BRM 3 Bath). Ask me about discounts. Find me “Kim Pierson Sunglade.” For SunGlade-West, the second story (main level) has a spacious living area that overlooks the private pool and the beach beyond. Our beach house is located enough away from the high rise condos that makes the beach less crowded and less chaotic. But, close enough to easily walk to the hangout and all the entertainment. The living area leads to a balcony to sit and relax. But, close enough toLook for the dolphins! This level also includes a dining room and large kitchen fully equipped, makes it easy to cook for the whole gang. Lastly, this level has bedroom #1 that is spacious with a king bed and a full bathroom. This room leads to a private balcony.

Upstairs on the third story (upper level) you have a gulf front master bedroom #2 with a King bed with its own oversized full bath. Enjoy a relaxing bath in the garden tub! This room has its own private gulf front balcony with such an amazing view that it will take your breath away! The middle bedroom #3 has a bunk bed with a bonus trundle bed. This room sleeps 4 with a full mattress and two twin beds. The front bedroom #4 is spacious with a King bed. There is a full bath shared by these two rooms. Lastly, the laundry room has a huge industrial front load Maytag washer and dryer.

On the lower ground level (1st story) you will find a warm welcoming foyer and bedroom #5. It has the same set up as the middle room on the top story with a bunk bed and a bonus trundle that has a full mattress and two twins; sleeps 4. Of course, every room has a flatscreen T.V. with cable and wifi.

Enjoy your own beach side pool complete with lounge chairs and tables. While many of the beach side pools you'll find are tiny splash pools, that isn't the case at SunGlade. Enjoy a large pool with the best views you can imagine! A charcoal grill is also provided to grill some steaks and seafood!

SunGlade is a duplex, two full houses. Each side is a mirror image. There is enough room to park six cars comfortably.

SunGlade is located in the laid-back West Beach area of Gulf Shores, just 1.7 miles west of Hwy 59 and the Hangout.

You are away from the condos and crowds, but close enough to walk to all the awesome tourist places. Also blessed to have a shopping center Across the street diagonally. There you will find a well stocked Convenient store, Liquor store, best icecream store in town, seafood market, and an awesome Restaurant with homemade items.

We ask that all reservations in June and July be made Saturday to Saturday. This helps with the flow of the rental and ensures proper and consistent cleaning. This also helps you, the renter, with your travel into and out of town. Sunglade is owned by Kim and Jeff Pierson. It’s our dream come true! We are real people with a great love for our house and are honored to have others to also enjoy our home amd make amazing memories and tons of fun! Not a corporation that owns many places. We originally bought as one side to be our personal full time home with Jeff working at the hospital. As we lived on one side, we rented the other side. An amazing life we had going! But, our first grandchild was born and we had to live by her in Auburn! We still come to the beach as much as we can. But, we now rent both sides.

Gulf Shores is a wonderful family-friendly location with gorgeous white-sand beaches. Enjoy the sand, surf and sun. Go on a dolphin cruise or try inshore or offshore fishing. Visit the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Waterville USA, the new OWA amusement park, or the Track.

Learn something new at historic Fort Morgan, Battleship Museum or the National Naval Air Museum (and watch the Blue Angels fly if you are lucky!). We even have a major Tanger outlet center just a few minutes north.

The location was very convenient. The beach was not crowded at all in front of our rental property. Our host was very responsive. The upper floor was awesome for our grandchildren and their parents to have lots of room.

My husband and I moved to Gulf Shores in 2016 and bought a duplex right on the beach! We began our journey of renting one side while we lived on the other side. I, Kim Pierson, have always manged the property which I enjoy. We recently moved to northern Alalbama to be close to our first granddauhgter. So, now we rent both sides of our dulex, Sunglade which means "a bright reflection of the sunlight on the water!' We love our beach home and believe you will too.

Why they chose this property

We love our location! West beach is the best area in Gulf Shoes. We are close enough to walk to the Hangout area, but far enough away from the high risers to crowd our beach! Our home is also across the street from the small strip mall. That has almost anything you need. The convenient store has food and all the beach things you would need. The icecream store is the same owners as the “yard!” Without the big lines. And our family loves all the food at the Beach House restaurant. They also have the store where you can buy seafood and they cook it for you!

What makes this property unique

We are blessed to have a big normal size pool! A lot of rentals don’t have pools at all. And the ones that do, they are SO Small!! If you rent both sides of the duplex, it is cool that we have a connecting door. We have a big kitchen with lots of cookware. Full size washer and dryer. Our rooms are big too and we don’t crowd them with lots of twin beds. We offer 3 king rooms. Plus the 2 rooms with full size bunk beds. Another thing I love about our home is that we have a balcony on the front of the house! Very few homes have that! I also like that we have a foyer. Instead of walking right into the stairs. We have a lot of space out front also. And of course number one thing we LOVE about our home, is seeing the “splashy splashy!!” It stinks to come to the BEACH and can’t see the beach!
