About this property

Cabin 2 Rental 15 minutes from Magnolia and Baylor

Summary:
Sleeps up to 2 people only in a queen size bed. Offers a full bath with stand-up shower only, and a small kitchen with everything you need to cook a small meal (hot plate and microwave). Luxury hotel bedding, snacks, and water are included, and organic coffee is offered. Homestead Heritage is less than a mile away. No smoking and no pets allowed.

The Space:
The cabins are like a small hotel suite. It measures approximately 260 square feet. See photos for a layout of the cabins. There are 2 cabins with 2 sides to each cabin, so I have 4 cabins, 2 in each building. You are renting one side. Please be advised that the second bed is a pullout sofa. If you're trying to sleep 4 people with the same comfort, you're probably not going to find it sleeping on the pullout. There are 2 buildings with 2 cabins located in each building. If using the pullout, some room rearrangement will be necessary. We do not offer televisions in any of our cabins.

Post Oak RV Park and Cabins have 4 cabins available, so if the calendar says we are booked, we may have availability. Be advised that the business name is Post Oak RV Park and Cabins, so we have RV Guests as well as cabin guests. We are only 15 minutes from Baylor and we are located in the country, but the time for you to get to your particular location at Baylor will depend. Close to Homestead Heritage for food and shopping.

This a reminder that we are a smoke-free property. There is no smoking allowed on any of the premises. Any evidence of smoke in the cabins or RV will result in automatic extra cleaning fees, as stated in the house manual.

Guest Access:
Access to your room and walking trails (when open). Free WiFi access. Iron is located under the bathroom sink.

The Neighborhood:
Located right off FM 933 (Gholson Rd) and is easy to locate from Waco. Homestead Heritage is less than a mile away!

Getting Around:
Located within 15 Minutes of Lake Waco, The Texas Ranger Museum, Baylor University, The Dr. Pepper Museum, Cameron Park Zoo, and Baylor's McClane Stadium are within 10 minutes.

Other Things to Note:
No pets allowed. Queen size bed only!

Interaction with Guests:
Owner lives on site and is easily accessible.

Very nice cabin
This is a nice, quiet campground located just outside Waco so that you feel you're in the country and yet close to town. The cabin was well done and made for a great stay.

About the host

Hosted by James Polich

Host profile image
Jim and Michele Polich are experienced RV'ers and have enjoyed camping since 1999. They recently purchased Post Oak RV Park and Cabins and hope to make it a family adventure, along with their 7 children.

Why they chose this property

Quietness. There's not much commotion at Post Oak RV Park and Cabins. You can be sure to get the rest you need. The occasional vehicle traffic is the only noise around. We are looking forward to adding improvements in the near future. We would like to add a BBQ area for all guests to use, a dog walking trail and kennels for the cabins for guests with dogs.

A reminder that we are a smoke free property. There is no smoking allowed on any of the premises. Any evidence of smoke in the cabins or RV’s will result in automatic extra cleaning fees, as stated in the house manual.

What makes this property unique

Unplug from it all! We are not off grid, but if unplugging from technology is on your to do list, then you found the right place. Very close to Homestead Heritage and The Ploughshare Institute for Sustainability. Shopping, fine crafts, dinning and classes offered for people interested in homesteading.
