About this property

Sag Modern Farmhouse: Htd Pool, Pvt. Beach Access, Fam Friendly 50% OFF 3rd Week

Spacious modern home in quiet North Haven location with heated saltwater pool. Outdoor shower, mahogany decks, and play house for the kids. Large bluestone patio and fenced in 18’x36’ heated saltwater pool with outdoor fireplace. Easy walk to private community beach. Access to community tennis/pickleball, basketball, playgrounds, and the best location in the Hamptons for boating, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and family bike rides. One mile bike ride to Sag Harbor Village or Shelter Island Ferry. No pets, wild parties, or smoking please.

The perfect blend of modern and traditional, our solar powered home was designed to take full advantage of southern exposure light; with an entire wall of glass the focal point of our spacious and open great room/dining room/kitchen. A separate den/television room connects to the downstairs master with en-suite bathroom and has a sliding pocket door to offer privacy to your own houseguests (perfect for in-laws, with it's own private entrance). Sliders in the downstairs master and dining area open up to 400' of mahogany decking overlooking the 18 x 36' heated saltwater pool with its own bluestone patio.
Upstairs you will find three more bedrooms and a bathroom, all with soaring ceilings. The largest bedroom features a balcony which overlooks the pool and the reserve area behind the backyard.
We love to cook and bake, so the large and open kitchen includes everything you could want. The dining table seats 8 comfortably (plus three at the kitchen island). On the deck, there is a table for 6 as well as a deep-seating sectional sofa and arm chairs.

We are tucked away on a private road in the estate section of North Haven, a stone's throw from the beachfront 1%ers; and our backyard abuts a protected natural area for ultimate privacy. Yet we are a 5-minute bike ride to Sag Harbor village (in our opinion, the very best of all the Hamptons), and a 2-minute bike ride to either North Haven's own private beach (the aptly named Sunset Beach) or Long Beach (considered the ultimate family beach as well as a SUP paradise).

Amazing family vacation/Incredible hosts
Our family of four (two children, ages 8 and 7) rented Tom and Christina's amazing home for two lovely weeks. We love Sag Harbor, and this house was perfect for us because it was secluded but close to town. The entire house was well-appointed and nice; we wanted for nothing the entire stay. Tom and Christina were both very responsive to all of our questions and at the ready to address any issues that may have arisen (none did). The outdoor space (pool and front and back yards and playground) was stunning and the proximity to the beach incredible. Our daughter declared it the best vacation ever, and we have to agree. A great house and truly wonderful owners.

Amazing Stay!
I had a wonderful stay here with my husband, mother in law and 9 month old for a week over July 4th. The house was well equipped (stocked kitchen, quality linens, Apple TVs, beach equipment etc...), and beautifully decorated. The pool is great and pool chairs are super comfy. The house is conveniently located - only about a 4 minute drive from the main streets in sag. The owners overall were awesome - incredibly responsive and even left a nice welcome basket. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house in a great location!
My husband and I and our two teenagers recently stayed in this house for our vacation. The house is wonderful. It is clean and spacious with a big deck (and grill) and pool in the yard. We have visited the Hamptons many times before but we never stayed in the Sag Harbor area. We loved it. It felt more relaxed and Sag Harbor has plenty of restaurants and shopping to satisfy. We also liked the proximity to both ocean and bay beaches. The homeowners were also wonderful. They were accessible when we were making our plans and they left a VERY detailed binder with information about the house and area. We definitely plan on returning to this North Haven location.

Why they chose this property

Sag Harbor is the best of all the Hamptons. Residents have fought to keep main street shops quaint and mostly family owned and operated. Sag Harbor features some of the best restaurants, bay views, and sunsets in the Hamptons. You will love the ability to walk or ride your bike over the picturesque North Haven bridge into town for a fresh, organic lunch at Provisions, or to watch the yachts on Long Wharf with some Big Olaf ice cream.

What makes this property unique

Our neighborhood is one of the most coveted in all of the Hamptons, due to the proximity to Sag Harbor village, yet the peace and quiet of a wooded, natural setting. We are on a private road with no through traffic, and our backyard abuts protected woodland. Yet we are centrally located to ocean and bay beaches, shopping, nightlife, hiking - all that the Hamptons has to offer.
