Perfect for our family, including our dog
Great cabin for our family of 5, with extra room that we didn't use. I wasn't counting on much regarding the property amenities, but we were pleasantly surprised. Plenty of "free" stuff for the kids to do on property, which was a nice break from the traffic and expense of all of the Pigeon Forge attractions. Only suggestion I would make is to put window coverings on the glass doors leading to the decks, particularily the master suite on the top floor! Very happy with our stay.

Great location!
We stayed at Thunder Mountain with our 3 teens and another family with teenagers in March 2022. This was such a great location for us! The cabin is part of a larger resort with a pool, mini golf, and several other amenities, but what we really appreciated was how close it was to the major Pigeon Forge attractions. Within 10 minutes we could be at the Island or one of the local mountain coasters. We enjoyed the hot tub and the multiple spacious bedrooms, and it was a very comfortable place to hang out and relax after a long day at Dollywood. If you want to be close to the action but have a quiet, relaxing place to come home to at night, this is the cabin for you!

Spring rod run escape
We stayed 5 days and it was great. There were a few normal issues like a loose board or 2 on deck but otherwise highly reccomend this cabin.

Nice location, close to all attractions
The cabin was large, but the coffee tables and dining table are a little worn for the price of the cabin.

Just Right
The size of the cabin for my size of group/family was spot on! If you have a large family, this is perfect for you. I would say that it could have used a little more of a thorough cleaning upon arrival, nothing major but there were a few areas that were missed. I would recommend that kitchen utensils and cookware be updated/replaced. Some were in rough shape and questionable to use. In addition, the top bunkbed was a bit scary for my 14 year old to use as it moved and creaked a lot and the mattress did not fit properly on the "frame" as there are not enough slats to support for someone to lay on it comfortably and safely. For some thesr could be minor mishaps so of these were taken care of I would certainly give full 5 stars. So please don't get me wrong, just want to provide an honest review as well as some suggestions to make it top notch! It is such a sweet cabin and location that we would like to come back.

Great cabin! Needs updating in the kitchen.
Pots and pans were in bad shape and there wasn’t enough of them. It made cooking for a large family burdensome. You should consider replacing them and adding more serving pieces. Cabin was adorable and we had a nice time.

Perfection
This is an amazing home. The moment I stepped in, I knew I had picked the perfect cabin. We loved everything about this cabin, close to town and the activity’s offered free of charge made this place well worth the price. Thank you for such an amazing stay . We can’t wait to come back.

Thunder Mountain
This was my first time renting using VRBO and I was somewhat concerned, but it was easy and the experience turned out well. My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying in Thunder Mountain, a cabin located in the Little Valley Mountain Resort. The location is only about 6 miles to Pigeon Forge, bringing you out near The Island of Pigeon Forge. The cabin has three levels that included a private bedroom with king sized bed and bath on each level. The fourth bed is a bunk bed located in the open den in the basement area, which you walk through to get to the private bedroom on that level. This was the only aspect that caused a bit of issue, as the people who slept there wanted more privacy. There was a bathroom off of that room, giving you two bathrooms in the basement area. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well appointed with dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware. The coffee pot, toaster, blender, microwave, and dishwasher were nice additions. If you plan on cooking, just remember to bring any needed pantry staples such as oil, flour, sugar, salt and pepper, etc. Our favorite cabin amenities were the hot tub, gas fireplace, pool table, arcade game, washer & dryer, and the rocking chairs on the deck. There are two nice sized decks to use to enjoy your wooded view. Overall, it was a great place to stay, a good experience with VRBO, and a very enjoyable trip!
