About this property

Welcome to this cozy villa with sweeping views over the lakes of Loosdrecht.

Welcome to this cozy villa with sweeping views over the lakes of Loosdrecht. The house is located on the rural dike in Breukeleveen with a garden directly on the fifth lake, which provides access to all other Loosdrecht lakes and the river Vecht. The garden of the villa faces west, so the sunset is beautiful.

The villa was built in 2003 and has a spacious living room, a dining kitchen where you can eat with a large group and a large game room (45 m2) in the basement. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each (one bedroom has a double bed, the other two bedrooms have two single beds). There are 2 bathrooms, 1 of which has a Whisper whirlpool bath. The house has its own jetty and swimming ladder. The house is well equipped for families and children: there is a crib, high chair, games, outdoor toys and the aforementioned play cellar. The garden is fully fenced and 4 cars can be parked on the property.
Near the house there are many opportunities for swimming and other water fun. The owner has provided a SUP at the house and you can rent a boat in the marina 2 km away. The villa is located in the nature and near the rest area Tienhoven with various hiking and biking trails. There is a cafe and restaurant 1 km away, and there are many (good) restaurants nearby. Utrecht and Amsterdam are both within 20 minutes by car. In short, a house where you can spend a wonderful vacation in the middle of nature.

Nice lake house
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was nice to be out in the countryside, but not far from necessities. It was a little inconvenient to have to go shop for towels and garbage bags after arriving, but it was clearly stated no towels were included. A simple check-in/out and plenty of parking for our van made it even better. We highly recommend this property and owner and would stay again!

Excellent house and location
Quite neighborhood on the water. House was very well maintained, clean and as depicted in the pictures. We were on move most of the time but my daughter did get to use the SUPs one day and walk to the beach. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property on the lake
The house is great, and the location is beautiful, although a bit far from stores, restaurants, and especially freeways. Even though it is centrally located, it takes 15-20 minutes to get to any highway, navigating tiny 1 lane roads. It would be nice to include a few necessities, besides toilet paper. After traveling all day, it is somewhat silly to have to go buy towels to take a shower. I am not packing an extra suitcase to bring towels for the family. Some hand soap in the bathrooms, and some body wash in the showers would help. Also salt and pepper, coffee and sugar would be a nice touch. The kids rooms are great. The master is also nice, but could use a better mattress. Still had a wonderful week, would recommend it, and would consider this house again for our next visit.
