Fahrradurlaub in Lenzen
Man kann wunderbar auf dem Elbedeich mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs sein. Gerade zu dieser Jahreszeit ist es besonders schön, da die Natur noch recht grün ist. An den Elbtalauen entlang zu radeln, ist ein besonderes Vergnügen. Leider war die Fähre in Lenzen nicht in Betrieb, so hätte man von Schnackenburg auf der westlichen Seite der Elbe zur Fähre nach Lenzen radeln können. Während unserer Touren haben wir Rehe und junge Füchse beobachten können. Eine schöne Radtour geht von Dömitz nach Herrenhof, mit der Fähre nach Hitzacker und zurück über die Brücke nach Dömitz. In unserer Ferienwohnung wurden wir jeden Morgen auf der Terrasse von ganz vielen Bienen und Hummeln empfangen, die früh immer an den Rosen, die dort in einer so tollen Pracht rund um die Terrasse wachsen, den Nektar sammelten. Es war ein Summen und Schwirren, was man sonst kaum noch erleben kann. Wir haben die 4 Tage sehr genossen. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Kurzurlaub, die Wohnung und Umgebung kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

Entspannung im Schlossgarten
Die Ferienwohnung ist behaglich eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist die niedrige Empore, aber der untere Raum ist sehr großzügig. Zum Fernseher gab es keine Fernbedienung, wir haben es nicht geschafft ihn einzustellen, hatten aber auch keinen Bedarf (man hätte sicher an der Rezeption fragen können). Besonders genossen haben wir die Terrasse, auf der man vom Frühstück bis zum Abendessen Sonne hat, und auch der Schlossgarten ist herrlich zum Entspannen. Wochentags kann man sich in Lenzen mit allem versorgen, was man braucht. Am Elbdeich gibt es schöne Gaststätten, Fahrräder sind zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
