We arrived at Casa Sarita and were met with Jorge who gave us the keys and showed us around.
The studio had everything we required including drinking water, beach chairs, umbrella etc. Just the right size for two people. There was a lovely little outdoor patio at the side of the unit, complete with table and chairs. It was a lovely place to sit as it was in the shade most of the day.
Teresa the housekeeper came every 3 or 4 days. Very lovely person.
The town of Sayulita is quite walkable distance wise. Mostly cobblestone streets and rough bricks or pavement. For someone with mobility issues this may be a problem. As was the steep hill getting to the unit. Would not work for someone with mobility issues or who couldn’t do a couple of steps easily.
The beach is a 5-8 minute walk away. With the beach there are only certain areas you can sit as all with all the chairs and umbrellas they want to rent to you. So their requirements were that you could not sit in their area. A couple of times we were almost in the water with the rising tide.
The unit itself is as described.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay. The only issues we had was the loud music coming from the building workers down the hill it went from morning till dinner. And it was loud! At times we could not sit outside because it wasn’t pleasant. We really wanted a quiet vacation. If it wasn’t for the music it would have been quiet. We were there for 30 days. We don’t usually like to complain but it was mentioned to Jorge who then spoke to the foreman of the project. The music was turned off for maybe 3 days.
Maria and Jorgevare a very nice couple.
