Grande maison avec beaucoup de charme à 15 minutes de Sarlat, et d’autres villages et sites touristiques du Périgord Noir. Parfaite localisation pour de nombreuses visites. Maison très bien équipée et pratique, qui peut accueillir plusieurs familles facilement.

Idéal pour une grande famille
Magnifique maison, grande, spacieuse, décorée avec beaucoup de goût. 5 chambres et 5 salles de bains.... idéal pour être tous prêt le matin. Équipements: rien ne manque, il y a même plus qu'il n'en faut. On a pu observer les écureuils dans les nombreux arbres de la propriété qui de plus est très bien entretenue. Parcours de santé à proximité. Je recommande +++

Why they chose this property

I was a single parent raising two children who attended Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley. My 4 year old was in preschool and would nit speak french so I decided to find a place in the country to spend a vacation. We stayed at the Village de combas for a number of years and one day the owner sold me a piece of property and I built this house from the ground up. buying old barns for the brick and working with a French and American achitect we built our house.

What makes this property unique

The house is located about 10 minutes from Sarlat - la Caneda in the middle of the historic Dordogne region. Although our villaged does not have a boulangerie, grocery these can be found 5 minutes away in Salinac. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It is easy to take day trips to Beynac, Castlenaud, Monfort, all built during the War of the Roses. Richard the Lion Hart was brought back to his castle Beynac where he died. If you are into the cave man era I am 20 minutes from Lacaux. If you would rather bike, canoe, walk, swim this can be arranged at time with the Village Combas de Gite. Oh well the most important for food lover is that of course we are in the heart of Fois Gras and Truffe country as well as Domme which has begun to produce some great wine. The house is new construction with wifi, satelite, cable. All bedrooms have their own modern baths.
