Beautiful, Airy 2-Bedroom Unit in South Rehoboth

This is a recently renovated and beautifully furnished two-bedroom, one-bath unit within a single-family home that has been converted to a duplex. It is completely self-contained, comprises the entire second floor of the house, and has its own entry access and screened-in porch. If more room is needed for your party, this apartment can be rented along with the 2 br/2bath apartment below it shown at VRBO #573674.

This bright and airy space includes a full-service kitchen with a breakfast bar, and high-end finishes throughout - comfortable leather seating, granite countertops, and ceiling fans in the living area and bedrooms. The large screened-in porch overlooks a lovely landscape - great for open-air dining. The porch includes a two-person hammock – perfect for an after-beach nap.

You'll find a comfortable king-size bed in each bedroom. The bathroom includes double sinks and a beautiful shower.

Walk a few steps around the side of the house to find your unit's outdoor shower (labeled #2 on the shower door) featuring slate flooring and a lava pedestal sink and mirror.

Your unit includes a washer and dryer and central air conditioning with its own control. Also included are two HDTVs and wireless internet.

In Rehoboth, location matters - and this property is one short block from Silver Lake, a quick 4-block walk to the beach and boardwalk, and a 10-minute walk to the heart of Rehoboth Ave with its wonderful dining and shops. You can easily park your car for the week and walk or bicycle everywhere. If you want a lift to town, the Jolly Trolley stops at the corner of our street.

The property has ample parking with two spaces allocated for use by guests of the apartment.

Guests provide their own linens and towels and often rent those items from 227rent.com. That service delivers and picks up from the unit's door.

Easy stay in a great location
The apartment was clean, had a great location to the boardwalk and was an easy stay. We appreciated the washer & dryer and absolutely loved the screened upper deck. We were a little disappointed that the hammock wasn't there but, to be fair - we didn't inquire with the host. Walls are a little thin with the downstairs neighbor so something to be aware of. The walk to the Rehoboth boardwalk is roughly 20 minutes, though you can reach some of the beaches in 10. It's a fast drive to the boardwalk though and we found the Park Mobil app to be a breeze. There is parking to be found within a few blocks if you look. Just make sure you select the closest meter on the street you are parked when using the app and you are all set. We loved that we could add extra time from our phones without running back & forth. The home is on a beautiful residential street with friendly locals & vacationers. Everything you could possibly need is nearby from restaurants to shopping, amusements and beaches galore. Outstanding stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here; relatively close to the beach and the owners were very responsive and helpful. This is my second time at this listing and this time was just as wonderful as the last. Would recommend!

Awesome Short Stay
This dwelling is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood. The home features a well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, and a full bathroom (with dual sinks and shower). The home is a walkable distance to downtown Rehoboth - which features many charming shops and restaurants reminiscent of what you would expect in a quaint beach town. If you are looking for a great house that feels like home, you surely will not be disappointed. There were small little touches that made the home feel quite cozy and warm: puzzles, books and lots of appliances. The enclosed patio was a dream! Susan, the owner, was responsive and accommodating. What a wonderful experience!

We live Rehoboth Beach and love it for it's wonderful beaches, laid-back atmosphere and great restaurants. We have two adult children who love to chill on the beach. We hit the beach at times too but also love riding our bikes around Rehoboth and to nearby towns of Lewes and Bethany.

Why they chose this property

When we travel, we like to live in space that is as comfortable as our home. We also like to cook at home and often found other rental properties lacking in kitchen space and cooking tools. We kept that in mind in when we readied the property for rental. We did major renovations and furnished the unit with the kind of furniture and finishes that we would use in our primary home. The property is beautifully landscaped and provides a lovely, quiet environment for relaxing with loved ones. We hope you enjoy your stay.

What makes this property unique

The property is in south Rehoboth, close enough to walk downtown (0.75 miles to the boardwalk at Rehoboth Avenue). It is a very short (7-10 minute walk) to the less-crowded end of the beach. It has lovely, high-end finishes and furnishings. Our favorite feature is the large screened-in porch with ceiling fans, rugs, and comfortable seating and dining furniture - a spacious additional protected outdoor living area.
