Great space for larger family get togethers
Sleeps 6 gracefully with three good sized bedrooms. The big bonus is that there is a family room but also a screened in porch area all with great views and amble seating. Plenty of deck all good for children. Such a good view even if it is a cloudy day the view is still great. Of note, it is located along some of the best beach on the island.

Excellent view
We loved the island and will be returning for longer next time. We hiked most of the trails and public beaches. The views were amazing and the weather/colors were breathtaking! Location was perfect. We felt right at home!

Heavenly Haven
Summertime is the essence of "living easy." It is perfectly situated on the hillside for expansive views of the lake at day or moonlight, and for viewing the brilliant stars at night. The progressive levels of stairs to the lake allow for easy and safe access to the sandy beach below for both children and adults. Because our vacation dates coincided with the Supermoon and Perseid meteor shower, we had the glorious experience of watching both celestial events from this darkened stretch of earth! The sunrises were equally stunning.
The house is really perfect in every way for privacy, lake access, sleeping, and just relaxation. The hammock and deck were well used - as were the fire pit, lawn chairs and kayak. We read, we watched Planet Earth DVDs, we played games and laughed, we cooked and ate leisurely dinners, and we slept (as others have stated) to the sounds of the waves breaking shore. We walked, waded, swam, and watched water fowl and snakes, which we especially enjoyed after reading the narratives of a local resident’s snake stories.
The tennis courts in town were terrific (the backboard is solid and straight!), and the library was wonderful. It was (in every regard) a lovely, reinvigorating vacation, and can't imagine anyone not cherishing their time in this heavenly haven! Thank you, Kelly and Chris, for sharing your house and love for Beaver Island!
