Great week on Barcelona
Great location. Kind owner. Comfortable beds. Though very hot - lots of fans in each room and air conditioning in the main room. Well equipped kitchen.

Very nice Appartement with small problems
Very good Location to explore BCN. Unfortunately there we're constructions in the very narrow staircase. So a Bit complicated to enter and leave the building.

7th floor walk-up, out-of-the-way location
This is an attic apartment on the 7th floor, with 108 steps to get to the apartment. This is not disclosed in the description. The location is also not near any sights, so you will need to take taxis or do 25-40min walks to sights. Those are the major drawback; but there are other issues to be aware of. 1) 7th floor (108 steps!), narrow staircase, no a/c in hallway, dreadful with a suitcase. 2) far from sights 3) window to hallway with a light that turns on anytime someone enters the building and shines on your bed (even at 3am!) 4) shower floor tile is very slippery 5) no curtain on kitchen window making for lots of light early in the morning 6) the AC was way too small for the apartment. The owner obviously knows this as there about 12 fans in the apartment. Even with AC and 12 fans, still hot! 7) Some of the fans do not work well and are loud 8) ceiling in bathroom (only toilet) is about 5' 8". if you are taller than this you will have to crouch to use it. 9) pillows not good 10) owner tried to upcharge us different amounts on check-in, in some messages he said 30 Euro, others 45 Euro, and still others 60 euro. I have never had this experience with other VRBOs. This was very much on the higher end for cost. The most expensive place we stayed in Spain and the worst experience. I recommend you stay somewhere else.
