About this property

Mascaros - beautiful, large house with own pool

Mascaros is ideal for the larger family holiday with friends. It is also a great location for small business conferences and workshops or as a base for special interest groups such as cyclists or golfers. It offers complete privacy, security, tranquility and beauty.

Situated at the entrance to a medieval village, Mascaros offers guests an opportunity to stay in one of Ullastret's and the Costa Brava's most beautiful country houses. Lovingly restored, the house retains many original features such as the well in the kitchen. There is a 12 m swimming pool, a gazebo looking over koi pond, covered table tennis and several peaceful seating areas for sun and shade in the large private garden.

Mascaros has a large family kitchen and a dining room with original fireplace. They both seat 20. There is also a cosy reading area and a table football. First floor lounge with tv and dvd player and a snooker table provides perfect spot for relaxation after a busy day. Puzzles, games and dvds are provided.

Mascaros has 8 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with either bath and/or shower. It sleeps up to 20 guests. Cots and high chairs are available.

We provide bed linen as well as a set of towels including beach towels.

The tourist tax is payable on arrival (1 euro per adult per night for the first seven nights).

There is an extra fee for charging an electric car.

Perfekt für Großfamilien
Trotz knapp 20 Personen gab es viele Rückzugsmöglichkeiten und Beschäftigung für jedes Alter. Ullastret ist ein kleiner Ort mit guten Lokalen und freundlichen Menschen. Das Gastgeberpaar von Mascaros ist sehr herzlich, immer ansprechbar und auskunftsfreudig!

Maravilloso fin de semana
Se me quedan cortas las palabras. La casa es aún más bonita que en fotos. Estancias infinitas, todo bien cuidado, llena de detalles pensado en los huéspedes. No nos faltó absolutamente de nada. Mark y Outi son encantadores. Si queréis pasar un finde con amigos la recomiendo 100%.

Simply amazing!
Me and my family (17 people in total) spend a week in Mascaros, and it was fantastic. The house is perfect for a family vacation with plenty of room for everyone, no matter age. There are lots of cozy areas where you can relax with a book, and several dining areas with room for everyone. Outi and Mark are very nice people and extremely helpful, and we have had great communication from start to finish. We can highly recommend a visit to Mascarot, and we'd be happy to spend another week there!

Mark and Outi are professionally qualified auditors who both worked in Luxembourg until 2016. Mark retired early in order to dedicate his time to managing Mascaros together with Outi. We have a young son who goes to the local school. Mark is British and Outi is Finnish. We both speak Spanish and are learning Catalan. Mark is a keen runner and cyclist and Outi loves to read and wants to start diving again. We intend to build on the reputation of Mascaros as a unique and unforgettable holiday location.
