Florida Getaway
My wife and I had a great time at 1550 San Charles Drive in Dunedin. The accommodations were great. The living area was spacious and the backyard with built in pool was fabulous. Th we was a bit of maintenance required to maintain the pool in late November and December when the acorns fell from the large oak tree, but that was a minor nuisance. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Paul was very easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs.

Wish we could stay longer
Overall, this is an incredibly comfortable home. Kitchen is well stocked w utensils, stoneware dishes, lots of bowls of many sizes, plenty of pots and pans, and even had a salad spinner and a teapot. Living room has three recliners, which got lots of use. Good sized flat screen TV w cable service. Never had a problem with the wifi. There are also two couches. There is wonderful room between dining area and screen room w a game table and a whole set of comfortable chairs plus a desk. Then there is the pool, which was wonderful. Sometimes the water was a bit chilly but we were in it almost every day. You will want to clean out some of the leaves each day, but otherwise, someone appears and takes care of the pool whether or not you are there. At the end of the day, the king size bed encouraged dreams and relaxation. Very comfortable. We didn't use the room w the twin beds but it's a nice looking room. Water pressure in the shower was very good and the laundry room was important, especially as we used pool towels and beach towels almost everyday. The grill is pretty old but it did it's job and we did use it many times. The back yard has lounge chairs and the screen rooms are both wonderful places for relaxing, eating (in the back) and reading. The yard is so incredibly private thanks to all the trees and plants, despite the closeness of neighbors. We didn't have any issue w neighbors and rarely heard them. It's about smile walk to the town, with options for restaurants, bars and breweries along the way. The Pinellas Trail is one of our favorite things about this area and started recognizing others during our daily walks or bike rides. I hope we get to stay here again. This is a home, so liveable, not a sterile cookie cutter condo. We really don't want to leave.

Such a wonderful home!
The neighborhood was nice, quiet and we felt very safe being away from home. My girls loved the pool and the gardens❤️ Close to Clearwater, but not in the hustle of the city. We visited Honeymoon Isalnd and the beaches, it was so nice to be so close! Owners were excellent and we will definitely be back! #hiddengem #ilovedunedin #cantwaittovisitagain❤️

We spend the winter in this home. It is very comfortable. It is not luxurious or fancy. It's an average, comfortable home. We put all our personal stuff away all our photos, books, personal items, etc---so you can make it your own place. There's a large screen TV in the living room. It has approx 30 digital antenna stations, including the major networks. We suggest you bring or buy a Roku or Firestick device for streaming the best content.

Why they chose this property

As you probably know, Dunedin has become a vacation destination. There are countless new restaurants and shops. The town is unique because you can be quiet and enjoy nature, or take part in the ever expanding and growing night life scene. The town offers so many great resources, including the Community Center with a full gym and classes, the Fine Arts Center with exhibits and over 200 art classes a year; and the Hale Senior center with daily classes & events. There were frequent festivals, street fairs, etc, throughout the year. Also there are many beautiful strolls to take along the waterfront, and the town is always adding new park space with new & different recreation opportunities.

What makes this property unique

Our pool is beautiful. It's open to the sky, so your'e really in the nature of our greenery with birds & butterflies overhead as you float in comfort. All pool & yard care are provided. The house is spacious and roomy. The location is excellent, with wonderful destinations in every direction. It's a 6 block walk to the waterfront where you can watch the sunset every night---a popular activity here! The nearby causeway (known as "Dunedin Beach" is a great hang out, and leads to Honeymoon Island, literally the most popular state park in Florida! Clearwater is next door, and St Petersburg and Tampa are less than an hour's drive. And don't forget spring training with the Toronto Bluejays here in Dunedin, the Phillies next door in Clearwater, the Yankees in Tampa, and the Tampa Rays in St. Pete.
