About the area
New Braunfels
Located in New Braunfels, this vacation home is in the city center and on a river. Gruene Hall is a notable landmark, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Comal River and Guadalupe River. Traveling with kids? Consider Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Waterpark and Schlitterbahn East. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as water tubing.
The property location is excellent for quick walks to downtown or to the Comal. It have nicely updated bathrooms and kitchen. A well outfitted property for a long weekend or a 2-3 month stay!
Easy location, lots of private parking, wonderful outdoor space, plenty of bedrooms and a great kitchen. Very close to the public entrance and exit to the river not to mention Schlitterbahn. Also a quick walk to downtown for any meal. Would definitely stay here again!
PROS:
Within walking distance to:
* Prince Solums Park for floating the Comal river and last public exit.
* Located across the street from schlitterbahn.
* 2 restaurants and ice cream shop.
The a/c worked great.
Tubes available in the shed was a great unknown bonus.
Cons:
The description says 2-queen beds and a bunk room. It was actually 1-queen bed and 2- bunk rooms that's 4 full beds.
I think curtains, blinds or some sort of covering is needed over the glass front door and side door.
The front bedroom was noisy with all the tubing truck and trailer travel.
Overall this was a great experience and I would 100% stay again and recommend to anyone.
