Greenslake Cottage with Updated Kitchen

Cottage on Kiawah, this private, end-unit Greenslake cottage has renovated bathrooms and kitchen and a large picture window overlooking the golf course! Conveniently located in Kiawah's West Beach Village, the cottage is a short walk (and even shorter bike ride) to the magnificent Kiawah beach and community pool (seasonal).
The community pool (seasonal) offers bathroom facilities, and is located halfway between our cottage and the beach. Perfect for a cool dip after a fun day at the beach. You can watch the golfers play on the first hole of Cougar Point Golf course from our screened porch, living room, or sun deck. Ten miles of pristine sand and surf will make this a vacation to remember. Kiawah Island is a golfers’ dream come true - five championship courses, including the world-famous Ocean Course, home of the 2012 and 2021 PGA Championships. Parking right in front of this single story cottage makes loading and unloading a breeze. There is a new king bed in the master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the guest room. There are flat screen TV's in the living room and both bedrooms for you to enjoy. Free wifi. I also rent 6 other Greenslake Cottages which makes this a perfect location for extended families or friends to spend their vacation together while still having their privacy. Nice property, roomy, doggo friendly, but the best part was Susie! Susie I would without one single doubt have you represent my property, you are FABULOUS, and your artwork isn’t bad either! (Nice paintings) Thank you for all of your prompt responses and help with all things Kiawah and the house. If you’ve never been to Kiawah you need to go, bike paths for days and safe and well thought out how to construct them, dark park fun family activities, pools to play in, and the BEACH! I had never experienced such beautiful, clean, beaches, and you can ride bikes right on the beach so fun! No one on top of anyone! We got to see Loggerhead Turtles born and make it to the ocean, just amazing!

Beautiful cottage for a perfect family getaway
Cottage is in a great location, close to golf and beach with friendly neighborhood. We stayed with our 2 small dogs for a week and we throughly enjoyed our stay with daily short walks to the beach. Susie was very helpful and informative throughout the rental process and quickly responded for any questions.I highly recommend for anyone to stay here. We will be back for next year

The cottage was a perfect getaway in Kiawah Island. Location was convenient and close to everything. Owner/manager was very responsive with our questions and needs. The check-in and check- out process was very quick and easy. Would love to stay here again.

Perfect Winter Getaway
This was our second two week stay at this cottage and the place was as wonderful as we remembered. The location can’t be beat, at the end of a quiet court, off of a little travelled road. An easy walk to the beach. The furniture was comfortable and the place is beautifully decorated. Starter supplies are always appreciated. The cottage was very clean. My husband and our two dogs couldn’t have been happier. Thanks again Susie!

We enjoyed the ability to walk to the beach, cook fresh seafood and walk to the clubhouse for great dinner and drinks. We really appreciated being able to have our dog with us and not being charged an exorbitant amount extra for him.

Beautiful week.
We enjoyed a very nice week in 1208 Greenslake. Cottage worked well for us and the manager, Susie provides a high level customer service. The only negative is that the lawn equipment can get going pretty early on the adjacent golf course.

The rental was as expected. Located on Kiawah with the Cougar golf course as the backyard. Five minute walk to the beach. Clean. Pet friendly. Screen in porch with outdoor barbecue grill. Comfortable den and new kitchen. We enjoyed ourselves and the communication with property manager was excellent.

Beach paradise
This space was perfect for a beach vacation with many activities at our disposal ( biking, walking, nature watching, tanning, swimming etc). The location was super convenient- biking or waking to the beach, biking or driving to the small village of Freshfieds, access to the bike paths that takes you all over the Island. The space was just right for us four and our dog while we were on vacation.

This lovely, updated home sits along the 1st hole of Cougar Point golf course. We found the setting peaceful and the home very well furnished/equipped. The Covid cleaning protocols left the home smelling super clean! The owners sent an email greeting but we didn't have a reason to contact further as the entire stay went smoothly -zero issues! I'd definitely rent this property again!

Beautiful cottage, great location.
My husband and I spent two weeks here, along with our two dogs and had a wonderful time. The cottage is spacious and very nicely decorated. I loved the large window in the kitchen that overlooked the golf course. The house had everything we needed during our stay. Having the gate pass ahead of time was a great idea! We have stayed on this court three times now and just love it's closeness to the beach. Thanks Susie for a much needed winter escape!

Kiawah By Owner began with just one property when we purchased our cottage on Kiawah in 2005. I quickly found that I loved helping friends and family plan their Kiawah vacations. In 2007, I obtained my South Carolina Property Manager License and began helping fellow owners rent their properties through Kiawah By Owner. My business has grown over the years through owner referrals and guest recommendations. We currently manage more than 20 properties on Kiawah. Many families have been renting with us from the beginning, and their now-grown children have continued the tradition.

We strive to provide a personalized experience with prompt, professional communication to each of our guests, earning us the honor of Premier Host status on VRBO. Why they chose this property

We love our cottage on Kiawah. We enjoy having both a screened porch and a deck overlooking Cougar Point golf course. We love to ride our bikes along the beach down to Captain Sam's Inlet to watch the dolphins around sunset.
