Shirley's Place is a one bedroom room with two futons in the living room giving you sleeping space for 6 people. There is a bathroom for the master bedroom and a bathroom off the living room. There is a dock and pier across the road for fishing and docking your boat. You have a boat ramp just down from the cottage to launch your boat. Shirley's Place is located in a good fishing place on Negreet Creek which takes you out to the open lake.

Great spot for overflow family. One negative the master shower isn’t working. Other than that great clean spot to catch some AC and sleep. Would rent again

Nice getaway
We enjoyed our stay. It was convenient having our own boat lunch. The cottage is simple, which we enjoyed ( the kids not so much). There was no wifi, but we were okay woth that. Communication with the property manager was amazing.

Didn’t get to fish the dock
Property was mostly as advertised. Clean place and nice location. Comfortable stay. However, the dock was advertised as available for fishing and when we pulled up one evening ready to fish the owners were there fishing with 4 rods taking up the whole dock. My dad and I had to fish off the back of the boat. The next day when we returned and wanted to fish the owners had left their rods on the deck with lines in the water. Did not fish again because I did not want to move their belongings. I was under the impression we would have a private experience and did not feel comfortable asking the owners to leave their own place. If they wanted to use it they should have not allowed guests on the dates we booked.
