Beautiful Farmhouse that sleeps up to 8 available for Castleton Univesity or Middlebury College campus weekends, ski vacations, accommodations for wedding guests, or for seasonal rentals. Close to Killington ski areas (9 mi.), and Mountain Top Inn (4 mi.) It is ideal for beautiful winter weekends or fall colors. Fantastic views and spacious grounds. Fully furnished and equipped. 28 miles down Rt. 7 from Middlebury, 7mi. from Castleton University. It is adjacent to Betsey Cox and Sangamon Camps. This is a good location for visiting families. Wifi, TV and all utilities included. No smokers, no pets please. This is Vermont at its best. All linens, dishes, cooking implements, washer/dryer included. This house includes a manager's apartment/office. The manager lives off-site yet is available to guests and is often on the property farming.

Perfect for Our Needs
Everything went smoothly with the whole process. We enjoyed the living room for a comfortable space for our group to meet, the sleeping accommodations worked and we had what we needed for eating. We would be happy to come back again!

eclipse accommodations
This was the ideal place for us to drive towards the eclipse, and yet not be right there where we would have to pay exorbitant prices. The farmhouse was spacious and comfortable. The place sleeps 8, but the 5 of us were very happy all having our own beds. The hostess, Mary, was responsive to my phone calls, giving me much info needed for the area. A beautiful location. I would highly recommend this place.

A warm feeling!
The farmhouse was comfy and homey! Our family loved having the space to relax and enjoy each other. Views are spectacular from any room or porch. Highly recommended! Susan made check in and check out a breeze. Thank you for that.

I manage this farm owned by my family (two sisters). I do not live at the farm (rather about 30 mi. away), but I do keep the attached apartment as my management office. While it is only rarely occupied overnight, I am there to manage the vast property or to farm in the fields most days. The whole house is 3600 sq. feet. I rent out 2500 sq. feet as advertised. It is a rich privilege to live in the beautiful state of Vermont and my family enjoys sharing this treasure with you. I am a retired minister and have two children.

Why they chose this property

We inherited this property from our father who was a Vermont native and always claimed the purchase of the farm was a "heart" purchase.

What makes this property unique

This property has a peaceful ambiance. The view of the Vermont countryside is sublime. The house is comfortable and beautifully furnished. It is close to ski slopes for lots of wintertime activity yet far enough away for a peaceful refuge. It is also close to Mountain Top Inn where a number of our guests have attended weddings. It is next door to Betsey Cox camp and Sangamon camp.

During the Covid 19 pandemic, we will rent to groups where everyone who is eligible for Covid 19 vaccinations, is fully vaccinated. Also please go to the Vermont Government Covid page to make sure you are following all the current laws.
