Open kitchen dining setting with sliding windows to balcony for entertaining. Gas fireplace for cozy nights. Locked- off one bedroom garden suite if desired at extra cost. Stairs to ocean front with kayaks and fire-pit for recreational use. Balcony equipped with BBQ and deck furniture. Great get away from Canadian winters or city pace. Artist and Pottery studios near-by . Horse back riding, kayak lessons, scuba diving are all available in the surrounding 10 mile area from this Bay. We are smokeless and pet less, for a clean, allergy free and comfortable stay.

Fantastic ocean view
We stayed for several months and really enjoyed it. It is a wonderful location and the views are just amazing. The hosts are incredibly friendly, gracious and responsive which made for a fantastic trip.

Covid free paradise on the water
Being "on the ocean" hardly describes the intimate closeness you feel at this property. Marine life, sea birds, always something to see! Our hosts were eager to make our stay comfortable and opened their home to our every need. Anne Marie and Graham treated us like great friends...we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their lovely home!

Relaxing by the ocean
Loved your beach house. We had a great ladies get together their. The sundeck view is awesome and was great for breakfasts and relaxing in the evenings. The house was clean and nicely appointed and we had everything we needed. It was great to simply go down the stairs and hop into the bay for a quick swim. We took a short walk to the Fairwinds Golf Club and had a nice brunch there. Shopping was only 10 minutes away in Parksville. We loved it so much we will be back again next year for our ladies get together.

Beautiful Weekend
We had a wonderful couples weekend at your beach house. Everything was perfect, very clean, well appointed and great views. We especially enjoyed swimming in the bay and dinners on the beautiful deck. Thank you for sharing your place with us. We'll be back.

I purchased this property as my dream for retirement. It is the perfect place that is close enough to cities, skiing, theatres and other activities, yet private in its location. Because of its angle it gets the morning and the afternoon sunshine, but has enough trees on the property for shade to relax when the weather is hot. Its open-concept gives the feeling of space with large windows to watch the ocean from inside as well as on deck. Just up the street is the Recreation Centre Club for Fairwinds as well as a top rated Golf Course and restaurant Club House as well as snack bar on the tenth hole. The Fairwinds Landing/ Schooner Cove marina is ten minutes walk and is being upgraded to include retail, restaurant and other facilities. I love this area for its friendly residents as well.
Anyone looking for rest - relaxation - great sea food- and water activities cannot go wrong in this neighbourhood.

What makes this property unique

Protected Cove for swimming and kayaking. The Marina and Golf course is within walking distance from the house. The Upper House area sleeps 4 , with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is completely separate from the Garden Suite below. The upper house is fully contained and has access to the garden and the stairs to the water.
The garden suite is the separate locked suite of the owners.
