Quiet Room in the Heart of the City

Cozy room, with full size bed, own entrance, private bath, mini fridge,
microwave. Room is a converted garage, attached to the house, but not accessable to main living area. addition space in backyard, patio with comphy seating. Home is close to I-5 freeway, Downtown Salem, Salem Fairgrounds. close access to restaurants, coffee, parks, Bush Park, Minto Brown Park, Water Front Park, shopping, State Capitol Bldg. Farmers Market on Saturday ,downtown thru October. Coffee House is 2 blocks away, walking distance. great coffee and morning treats!
Suite was remodeled in March of 2020, New bath, barn sliding door, new front french doors, flooring, new back door, ship lap on walls, new paint. New heat and air conditioning, guest have control of heat and air.
New pictures of the remodeled suite are coming!, super inviting, modern Farmhouse look.
I live in the main house with a roommate.

Very Comfortable, Perfect!
Excellent small space for a couple. Everything you would have forgotten was supplied. Fantastic details for extras, from great coffee to cold drinks in the small fridge. Well appointed, every thing needed supplied. Great shower & bathroom . Outside space very cozy, private, great garden. Will stay again.

Great Little Place
Bright well kept place which appeared to be an unused extension of the house. Lots of minor but usefully amenities such as floss sticks, cotton balls, water bottles, etc.. Yard is gorgeous for an outdoor seat but mostly (and fairly) sectioned off for owner use. Instructions for check out are written and posted. Quite small but has want you need for a quick stay. Some cons include that you cannot access the back yard if someone is using the bathroom. Bathroom also not "soundproof" for those who are not more intimate. Overall a great place

Amazing Stay
My best friend and I stayed for a few nights during spring break. It’s a perfect little room for one or two. Our host was very kind, even pointed us in a direction for our favorite place for lunch (Bo & Vine). 15/10

The home has the original creeky wood floors, and a attic i turned into a master bed and bath, luv old houses with attics
