Only suitable for Hen and Stag do’s.
This was so disappointing. I booked this apartment for my parents for a 6 week stay, and it was entirely unsuitable. My parents are in their early 60’s, but I stayed with them for 2 weeks and I’m 28, and could not sleep in this property. Family friends were supposed to visit and stay with my parents also but had to find alternative accommodation because of the noise.
- keeping in mind that this is a marina front property but no where does it say that the noise is so excessive you can’t enjoy your stay. It says no where that it is directly above a children’s play area with air hockey tables and a punching machine making the balcony completely unusable from 11am to 1am. Also it is across from 2 bars that stay open until 3am with Karaoke. So although the location is great it’s uninhabitable.
- the smell of sewerage from the bathroom was enough to turn your stomach, and the bathroom flooded while we were there.
- when we complained multiple times my parents were told to ‘go home’, after paying 6k for 6 weeks stay. The company looking after the property were not very helpful. I was left to call the police 4 times because of the excessive noise.
It’s a real shame because it is a beautiful apartment but if you want a relaxing break, avoid the front line of the marina.
