Stay away from this house, but do book with Big Bear Vacations a different one.
Luckily this house is managed by big bear vacations which was extremely helpful in moving us to a different home. This “fox farm” was disgusting. It stinks so much your eyes burn and hasn’t been cleaned in years! The cobwebs are everywhere. I complained and luckily big bear vacations who manage plenty of properties were able to move us into a different location which was amazing. This place however is a definite NO! It has all the potential, but none of the minimum effort required to make your stay here pleasant.

Big bear fun
Had a great time at this home. Property was very clean and the place looked great and also extremely comfortable. It’s located near the village and stores so driving for groceries is only 5 min away. Super quite and friendly neighborhood. Overall greatly satisfied and will be returning again!

Good Potential But Needs Some Work
We rented this property over a snowy and cold weekend in big bear. Pros: nice neighborhood and good location near town and resorts. Some hills around the house for sledding for the kids when there’s snow. Nice wood burning fireplace and jacuzzi on the patio. Cons: the home is in need of a deep clean, paint and some updating given the price and total fees charged. This would be less of a con if the price was lower, but they’re charging a premium price (and resort fee..) for a less than luxury experience. Also note about 1/3rd of the house is blocked off. Description of space/bedrooms was overall accurate, but I doubt the represented square footage is. Dining table was dirty and smudged on arrival. We wiped common surfaces with Lysol wipes and picked up dirt and black marks. Blinds were dirty. Furniture is basic and dated. Living room couch has seen much better days. Large Cobwebs on chandelier and in corners of the living space. BBQ didn’t work. Heater was auto set to max out at 58(!) at night when the lows were in the teens. We couldn’t override it and had a very cold night. Bring firewood. Overall we made the most of the stay and enjoyed the snow but will look elsewhere next time.

Worst cabin
I never leave reviews, but the cabin looks nothing like the pictures. Waste of money. So dirty and worst customer service. I will make sure I get my money back.

As there is no street parking allowed in Big Bear it is extremely important that guests make every attempt to get vehicles off the street for the snowplows.
