Great House...Needs some TLC
This is really a fantastic house, but needs maintenance. It's currently listed for sale so I doubt the current owners would dump more $ into the investment property at this point. But it deparately needs interior painting and exterior painting. Interior walls and baseboards are dirty. Exterior stucco cracks and mildew are prevalent. Two of the upstairs toilets need routine plunging. Thankfully the plungers were already next to the toilets which tells me it's an ongoing problem. Not fun when you have to strategically think about where you wil go #2 that day so you don't have to do it in your own toilet. Yes, there are 3 other bathrooms in the house but when you have a house full of guests, not to cool to use their bathroom to do your business. The floors could use some extra cleaning...after walking barefoot for 30 minutes in the house the bottoms of my feet were black. We paid extra or the pool heater but it's a little silly considering you don't have the option to just heat the spa (hot tub). We were hopeful the spa would get up to 100 degrees, but given it only works between the hours of 9 am and 6pm, no real chance. The heat pump heats both pools. Thus, both pools end up luke warm. On the plus side it's a tremendously spacious home, AC works great, lots of beds, nice theater room, nice countertops. One last tip...be sure you give the property manager all the names of vehicle drivers BEFORE your visit or your guests won't be let in through the gate.
