Family fun at Shoal Bay! Book an affordable weeks getaway for the extended family at this renovated house that's just a 5-minute stroll to the beach. With 6 bedrooms, 2 new kitchens, 2 new bathrooms, 2 living rooms and all new flooring, you'll all be very comfortable indoors. Outside, enjoy the summer breeze while savouring a drink and alfresco dining on the generous verandah, equipped with outdoor furniture and a good-sized gas BBQ. There is even a half-size tennis court to use up some extra energy after lazing in the sun on the beach, plus space to park a boat!

You've got everything you need for a big family holiday - kitchen essentials including dishwasher, oven, 2 full size fridge/freezers, 2 microwaves and plenty of prep space, dining furniture indoors or out, a laundry with washer and dryer, and there's even a bar.

And best of all, you're located in popular Shoal Bay, within walking distance to all that this beautiful little coastal town has to offer. At the end of your street is beautiful Shoal Bay Beach where you can swim, play in the sand, launch your vessel from the boat ramp or stroll the picturesque stretch of coastline. The foreshore reserve offers BBQ and picnic facilities, and a row of cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops line the waterfront.

Explore the local walking tracks, climb Mt Tomaree, hire a kayak or stand up paddle board and get out on the water and play at the nearby playground, then have a relaxed dinner at the Country Club Hotel or pick up some takeaway and meander the 650m to your door. Just the way summer holidays are meant to be.

Unfortunate Experience
Unfortunately we turned up and the property was filthy and had to call port stephens accomodation to organise cleaners before we entered the place, the beds had rice and sand all over them, a doona actually disintegrated inside the cover and the matresses were disgusting, old and badly stained. A lot of small items were broken or needed heavy maintenance.. i.e. no gas in gas bottle, 3 rooms light globes out. 1 TV working out of the two, then the antennae plug fell apart part way through. No batteries the TV remote, some fan remotes had no batteries. Sand and food crumbs all in the lounge crevice's. I have twin 11 month old boys whom we didn't want to let play on the ground as they constantly had dirt and black marks all over them. The soles of our feet were filthy daily. We had to spend hundreds on small items, in order to make it through the day here. Significant effort required to tidy up, for such a great location the lack of maintenance and effort on the place was very disappointing.
