About this property

Cornwall by the Sea - only 50m to the beach

Only 50 meters from the beach, a 5 minute drive into central Cowes and located in a very quite street is this spacious property. Guests also have access to the 23 foot boat mooring not far from the property.

The 4 bedrooms sleeps up to 9 guests. The main bedroom includes an ensuite. The Jack & Jill 2nd bathroom is situated between two bedrooms. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.

Open plan living provides space for everyone with comfortable leather sofas, flat screen tv and dvd player and dining table seating for 8. The generous, new kitchen with a beautiful splash back, electric cooking, microwave, double door fridge and dishwasher caters for special family gatherings. There is split system heating and cooling in the living area, as well as an open wood fire.

The laundry has a washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron.

Outside is a lovely large undercover deck for entertaining all year round with a chiminea for warmth in winter and an enjoyable space for summer.

*Please note - only one night worth of firewood may be provided, guests are able to purchase more if they require from the BP Service Station in Cowes.

The garage/shed is not available. Pets are welcome but strictly outdoor only.

Guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea towels.
Alternatively, you can hire linen directly through LinenOnLoan for this property.

A refundable Bond is required in addition to your nightly tariff for all bookings, in case of accidental damage. The refundable Bond will be returned back to you, subject to an inspection of the property on your departure.

Additionally, booking through “Obrien Real Estate” necessitates completion of an online check-in process closer to your arrival date, including providing a Photo ID and a credit/debit card. Christmas Break at Cornwall
The property was accurately described and in a great location. The issues reported by other guests had not been fixed (broken gate, fridge freezing all food, spiders and webs in every room of the house, 18 spiders just in one bathroom!, sticks and leaves all over the deck and driveway). If these issues were rectified, I would highly reccomend.

Great property, very spacious. Would give it 5 stars but it needed a bit of a deep clean. Otherwise great.

Great location - but be cautious
Magnificent location with very close access to the beach and only a short distance to the main shopping area of Cowes. The property, however, could use some maintenance. The gate is in poor condition, and likely to break off before long - making securing a dog on the property challenging. Also the master brm window is about to fall out - securing with a garden rake is unacceptable and dangerous. When we stayed, it was after opening up from a long lockdown period, so it should have been inspected before re-renting … lots of spider activity inside and the fridge froze all our fresh veggies. Overall, we were generally satisfied, but I won’t book any property through Obrien RE again, as I feel requiring images of 100pts of ID for a weekend stay is over the top and invasive - never had this experience with other agencies.
