OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:
Please be aware, part of our long-term stays are complimentary bi-weekly cleanings. This is partially because we maintain cleaners that we need to keep employed and partially to adjust the homes settings. It’s a smart home, that takes time to learn how to heat and cool most effectively. These setting need to be adjusted slightly.

Please also be aware that we operate the place as an inn (vacation rental) and not as a traditional long-term rental so all stays are legally considered “short-term” regardless of duration. Our patrons are considered guests, they are not considered legal tenants.

While we do welcome families, the home is not perfectly childproof so our place may not be the right fit for large families with more than two children under the age of 10.

Lastly, we only provide a starter pack of supplies. Guests with longer stays have to buy their own supplies for the remaining days.

HOUSE RULES:
Garbage: If you're staying with us on a Wednesday night, we kindly ask that you bring the trash cans from the garage to the end of the driveway. The trash service only comes once a week, every Thursday morning, if we miss a week the cans will fill up quickly!

Parties: If you’re coming to Saint Peters to party, you’ve picked a great town to do so. Unfortunately, just not at our place. Though we’re sure it won’t come to it, serious complaints of unruly behavior will unfortunately result in you being asked to leave. Not good for you. Not good for us.

Smoking: Being a family home, we also have a no smoking policy (although you are welcome to smoke either out back or in the garage).

Drugs: What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place. we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law… not so much one of our rules.

Check-in/check-out: Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Arriving slightly earlier, or want that extra hour to sleep? Should be fine, but please check with us first.

Late check-out: If an unapproved late check-out causes delays with the next guests check-in, we unfortunately must charge you that nights rate. The charge will be given as a discount to the next guest for their trouble.

Age: Due to previous problems (and we’re sure this doesn’t relate to you…) we’ve needed to implement a minimum age requirement of 21+. Guests under the age of 21 are still entirely welcome – they will just need to be accompanied by parents or guardians.

Cleanliness: Whilst we do a thorough professional clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and put any dirty towels and linens in the washer. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests.

Bedrooms: While we all know its relaxing to curl up with a loved one in bed and have a snack before bedtime, we ask that you please keep all food items out of the bedrooms. Food in the bedrooms can cause a whole plethora of health problems for future guests and can attract unwelcome pests!

Toilet: The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is a plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to please place things like sanity napkins in the sanitary bin we’ve provided in the bathroom. We simply want to ensure you have problem-free stay!

No Shoe Policy: To ensure we keep the floorboards squeaky clean for our guests’ enjoyment, we have a no shoes policy inside our home.

Electricity: To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to our guests), we kindly ask that you switch off lights and the A/C or heating when its not in use or leaving the house. Mother nature, thanks you too.

Damage: We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are, we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.

Noise: To be considerate to the neighbors, we kindly ask to keep things on the quieter-side after 9:00 PM. We're sure they’ll reciprocate the favor!

Additional Guests: We ask that you kindly respect our maximum occupancy requirement of 8 people. We have this in place instead of an additional guest charge in an attempt to keep costs down for you.

Overnight Visitors: We understand that for a whole verity of reasons, you may want additional guests to stay in the place. In the event that you want additional guests to stay, please contact us to let us know. We’re reasonable folk and will accommodate wherever possible.

Pets: While we love animals too, we have a no pet policy in the home. This is to ensure we don't cause problems for guests with allergies in the future.

Security: To ensure full safety of our guest’s belongings, we ask that you do not tamper or disturb the exterior security cameras. Whilst being one of the safest areas of town, we still thought it best to install remotely monitored cameras around the exterior of the house. We want to ensure every guest stay remains safe, and problem free, and this is just one small + simple thing we’re able to do to ensure that.

Good first experience.
The house is nice. It's off a busy street and we definitely didn't know that. We didn't feel comfortable with our 5yo in the yard without being closer to us. This house has ONE bathroom. When I filtered my search for a 2bth house, this showed so my mistake for assuming it had 2 bathrooms. The house had a lot of commonly used things but I would recommend bringing your own pans if you want to cook. I think the cleaning people could've done a better job before we got there but I spoke with the owner about any issues we had. The yard was very nice. Grass was cut, looked great! Very nice and responds very quickly. I loved that I needed a code to get in. That made me feel better, more safe.
