Great place to relax!
John’s cabin was exactly as listed. Very clean with great outdoor space in a quiet neighbourhood. Lots of bedding and towels for both bath and beach. We loved the deck and being able to relax with our dog in a quite space. Although it was only my husband and I, there was plenty of room for a family with three bedrooms available. Host was very quick to respond to any messages. We loved our stay at the cottage and would definitely book again. .

Christmas Holiday
Arrived at cabin and there has been damage to the outside from previous day of snow clearing. Informed John of same what I saw. Wifi did not work and was waiting for bell to make repair. We had a massive selection of movies and was nice to have such an option. We had access to Siri for news radio. 👍 I learned a new way to cook steaks at this cabin 😀 In the living room there were 3 stains on rug. Was informed from John that the previous occupants caused stains. This is a wonderful place to stay so quiet, smells of the trees and fresh air was what myself and my family needed. We left the cabin on the same condition we found it-clean, garbage and recycling removed. Would love to stay and experience the area during summer or fall. John very helpful and answered questions in a timely manner. So happy this place accommodated my small family pet. My family loved it. Thank you John for allowing us to stay at this quiet cozy cabin.

Clean, comfortable cabin
Pros: Very well maintained, clean cabin. Well organized notes throughout the building to keep stay simplified. Furniture very comfortable. Access to hundreds of DVDs for chilling on rainy days. Cons: Wi-Fi barely worked, despite us resetting the router multiple times (we were asked, if we were home, to let MTS in to fix it. We weren't and therefore didn't--that should never be the guests' responsibility). The DVD player wasn't hooked up with an HDMI cable, so everything looked like it was on VHS, and the sound quality was terrible, even turned up to 100. We woke up Thursday morning to someone cutting the grass -- just a heads up would have been appreciated. We were also expected to clean up after ourselves (is that normal? It's our first rented cabin). While it's not a big deal and just a common courtesy, we are charged a cleaning fee--shouldn't that cover the cleaning? Nevertheless, we had a really delightful stay and would likely stay again.
