It was lovely.
All said the property was great. Big bear itself is becoming too full of people like us getting away to a place that is too small for the influx. That said just enjoy the house and stay tucked in there since it’s lovely

Nice getaway
The house was clean and everything we needed. We did not have hot water the first night but someone came our the next morning to get it working. Loved the game room. House could use a little updating but still cute.

Weekend Snow Trip
We had a good time, plenty of space for all of us (8 people). Due to a past review we brought extra pans but the kitchen seemed fully stocked and all was good for our use. The hottub was half full upon arrival but maintenance came within a couple of hours of us reporting it. Overall, had a great weekend getaway on the slopes. Thanks!

BYO blankets, pots and pans and enjoy.
We had a nice time here but there were some disappointments that had some easy resolutions. The spa was unfortunately cloudy with a good amount dirt/leaves at the bottom but if clean it would have been nice to use. Kitchen needs updating. The sink only does very hot or cold and a few of us were burned from the hot water. The dishwasher doesn’t wash very well so it made washing dishes by hand very difficult. Management hopefully will fix this immediately. The oven is very old and requires you to light the stove top with a lighter so bring one when you come in case one isn't available. The pans are old so just bring your own. Bedrooms were clean but the carpets were needing some care. Probably tough to maintain carpet in a cabin though so not a big deal. We had eight people but blankets were only in the second bedroom. A comforter with a top sheet in the master. No other blankets were provided so we had to go out and purchase some. The rest of the house had nice vinyl flooring which was good and comfortable furniture. The game room, which isn't connected to the main house, was very nice but bring some darts for the dart board. Bathrooms were clean, somewhat updated and offered plenty of clean towels. Overall, bring your own blankets, lighter, darts, pots and pans and realize the spa is hit or miss and you’ll enjoy your stay.

Quite cabin in big bear.
The place has the rustic vibe. Older but cute. Had everything we needed. There were a few issues, but I notified management and they offered to send someone out. I kindly declined. Just wanted them aware for next renters. Can’t wait to come back in winter. It’s a little to warm in summer since the place has no ac. There were fans to help with the heat. But I’m a 70 degree kinda sleeper so that was a little rough. We could have left the whole place open to get fresh air but I’m such a chicken we didn’t. So maybe if we did it would be much cooler at night. The deck that wraps around the place is so cool!the game room down stars is super cute too. We hung out down there quite a bit. Kids loved it. All in all it was a good stay. I would definitely come back.
