Great Fall Weekend
This property was great for a group of friends to have a short, calm Catskills weekend! Loved the porch and windows facing the lake and trees around the property, and was impressed by the lichen and the book showing Scott and Eli’s process to build the property.

Perfect Lakehouse Getaway
My husband and I had a great time in Smallwood. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The perfect getaway place for a small group of people. Eli was very responsive to all of our questions. If we ever go back to the Catskills we would definitely rent this house again.

Perfect location for relaxing
The property is well maintained and decorated nicely. It’s both comfortable and cozy. Good location and the deck is great for watching sunset or sunrise. There is no AC but I was there for heatwave and it was fine. I recommend walking around the lake, going to the private beach and eating at any of the restaurants on Horseshoe Lake Rd. Highly recommend this place, it’s beautiful and well stocked with anything you may need for stay.

Perfect house!
The house was amazing. This is a property that was built with love and care, and you can tell that the owners are proud of every inch of it. The views from the porch are wonderful and there is a sense of calm in every room. If you’re looking for a place where you can just be, this is it.

Comfortable and peaceful
This vacation home is lovely and we enjoyed reading the story of it's creation. I loved the decor and the landscaping and the view! The natural light with all of the windows was so tranquil.
