We are excited to have you experience our newly remodeled apartment ready for a cozy getaway. The private patio is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Speakers allow you to listen to your favorite music outside. In the country, but 2 miles off the freeway, Manger 6 is 15 minutes from historic Ashtabula Harbor; 11 minutes from Downtown Conneaut.; 25 minutes from the Spire; 15 minutes from wineries in Conneaut and 25 minutes from all of the Grand River region wineries.

This is a guest house that shares the driveway with our main house. You have your own entrance, which has a pass-coded door.
There is a private patio that is canopied in the summer, where you can sit and watch for the deer who regularly walk across the back yard. There is a grill and fire pit on the patio

Needed a quiet, clean place to stay visiting the Conneaut area and Manger 6 fit the bill perfectly! Bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when in town

Weekend Getaway
My wife and I came to town to visit family and to catch some fish and needed a place to stay for the night. This rental was perfect for everything we needed in our trip. We will definitely be returning! Check in was a breeze and the house and kitchen had a surplus of amenities.

Superb hosts! Very nice, personal house.
The house is as depicted in the photographs. A nice, cozy place to stay in a quiet country setting on a quiet country road. The bedroom is very nice and the bed is most comfortable. The kitchen is spacious. The bathroom is of proper size and nicely furnished. The living room is large with couch and chair. Plus a nice evening view of deer in the back yard. All in all one of my favorite places to stay. Now the hosts. Oh my! Each stay is a pleasant experience both because of the house as well as the wonderful hosts. I drive a Tesla from PA to OH. I arrive at the house with plenty of charge left, but like to plug it into the outside outlet to keep the belly of the beast warm during a winter's night. Prior to my arrival Gary indicated that the GFI for the outlet had failed, which was no problem to me. I can always charge up elsewhere. But knowing the car I drive he was kind enough to replace the faulty GFI. A very unnecessary and considerate thing to do. I could not get the liquid soap dispenser to work in the bathroom. Garry IMMEDIATELY came over and confirmed it was broken. Within minutes I had a replacement. Then, I could not find the soap pods for the dishwasher. In less than a minute(!) here comes Linda with a supply. Boom! Gary and Linda are the most pleasant hosts I have met via the online rental services. Incredible people both in business as well as personal. If the size and location of the house suit your needs (2 miles off of I-90) I URGE you to stay here.

My wife and I love to travel. We stayed in our first Airbnb a number of years ago. We love the idea of a private place to stay that feels like home.

Why they chose this property

We call our guest house Manger 6, because it is a comfortable place to stay when you don’t want to stay at a hotel. This is where our out- of -town-family stayed when they came to visit. It is where our children lived when they were in college; where our son and daughter in love lived the year before they married so they could save money towards their wedding; and where our daughter and Granddaughters lived when they were getting on their feet after divorce. Now everyone has moved out and we have more house than the two of us need.
We always thought that we would love to share our beautiful country home with others.
So, after 3 months of new paint, tile, flooring, and furniture, it is ready to be enjoyed by you.

What makes this property unique

It is our guest house - or mother in law suite.
There is a private entrance in a separate building from the main house.

We are dog friendly for small to medium dogs. We require your furbaby be crated if you leave the house without him/her. We have a crate available on request.

The charge is $15 per night for the 1st dog and $10 for a second. So for 2 dogs, it would be $25 per night. Please let us know if you are bringing a second dog, so we can adjust your payment.
