We thoroughly enjoyed our stay once we got used to the location and found our way around. On arrival Walter was there waiting for us which was so nice, we had an issue with a toilet the first day, it immediately got fixed.
I expected the beach to be on our doorstep from the photo's, it is not. Their is a gate that takes you to the beach , however it is a little walk through a waste land area. The beach walks were beautiful and quiet, we walked back via the road, a nicer walk.
That beach is to the right of the property. The beulevard is to the left via the harbour not right outside the complex as we expected. The old town of Estepona is about 20 minutes away. Again further than we expected. Supermarkets close by and a wonderful market in the harbour, I think on Sunday morning.
The house itself was like a museum, lots of art, books and spanish/english bits and pieces around which we all enjoyed.
I would not recommend this house to anyone with young children or the elderly because of the stairs, there are lots and they are solid marble, a bit dangerous.
The little kitchen was very well equip, the balcony however is on the second floor, no big deal really but everything had to be taken up a flight of stairs when eating outside.
A great location to have as a base. We liked the security being a gated community and nice parking. Thanks
