Put your feet up in our relaxing 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom family cabin. The master has a king size bed, ensuite, and walk-in closet, while the other two bedrooms feature queen size beds, dressers, and closets for your use. You will find the kitchen fully equipped with pots and pans, cooking utensils, and a gas range. A dishwasher offers convenient clean up. No need to worry if you get dirty playing outside, there is a washer and dryer. Wi-fi and Direct TV IS available (May-October), but you don’t have to tell the kids. Central air will keep everyone cool on those hot summer days.
Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the front deck as the sun rises, then an evening cocktail on the rear deck as you watch a picturesque sunset over the lake. You will find a large level yard for hours of outdoor games and family fun. Steps lead you down to the lake where the dock is in from May until October. Spend a peaceful afternoon fishing, or sit in your yard chair watching the kids splash and swim in the lake. In the evening you can enjoy a crackling fire as you listen for the call of the resident loons. There is a public boat launch about ¼ of a mile from the cabin.
When you don’t want to cook, there are many area restaurants catering to everyone’s tastes, from Friday night fish fry’s or pizza, to great grilled burgers and ribs. You can find adventure on the nearby ATV/snowmobile trails or relax on the beautiful golf courses. There truly is something for everyone. A short 10 minute drive will lead you to go kart racing and mini-golf, scenic northern Wisconsin train rides, canoeing and tubing down the Namekagon river, or small town shopping. Venture a little further to find activities such as hiking the north shore near a waterfall or horseback riding. Snowshoeing and hiking at the cabin await you if you prefer to stay close. Throughout the year there are several area festivals and activities to enjoy. In July you will find excitement at the Spooner Rodeo and parade. In August you can cheer on the lumberjacks as they compete at the Jack Pine Savage Days. February brings the world renowned cross country ski race, the Birkibeiner. A short drive north you will find the Grandma’s Marathon in June, and the Whistlestop Marathon in October. No matter the season there is always something to do.
