One of three cottages at Woodlands, Dormer is set in its own grounds in a secluded spot in woodland in a hamlet near Wareham. Our cosy cottage cottage sleeps 5 people in 3 bedrooms and offers an ideal retreat for a family or group of friends. There are lots of walks from the cottage through woodlands and heath and the historic town of Wareham is 4 miles away. Local beaches on the Jurassic Coast are a short drive including the well known beauty spots at Kimmeridge and Lulworth cove. Poole, Swanage, Studland are within a 30 minute drive. Many of Dorset's best attractions are located within a short distance such as Monkey World and the Bovingdon tank museum, Corfe Castle and the Swanage steam railway.

Fantastic hosts
We had a lovely time at this property. Gwen and Martin were wonderful hosts who were very friendly and helpful. We were especially grateful to them for showing us the new born lambs and wonderful collection of poultry they keep on the farm, along with Archie the puppy of course. Our children loved it.
