Arriving at the destination forget that you have left the Catania Siracusa motorway just 5 minutes away, and you will be overwhelmed by a sense of peace. Get out of the car astonished by the view of the sea and Etna by day, the stars and the distant lights of Catania if it is dark. If you are really lucky Etna will produce a tongue of incandescent fire that will shine above Catania. We are located at less than two hundreds meters from the sea, on the bay of Vetrano, a charming rocky fjord reachable with a 5-minute walk along a nature trail. Our family villa has separate entrances that protect the privacy of guests, free to come and go at any time, leaving the car in a free private parking just outside the villa.
You access the apartment from a private entrance door for the exclusive use of guests on the ground floor, you go up an elegant internal staircase that leads to a large air-conditioned living room with views of the Etna and a double sofa bed, which in in case of need, hosts the 5th and 6th guests in two separate beds. The kitchen is equipped with every useful accessory and the rich library will keep you company if you are looking for tranquility. The living room leads to two bedrooms with always fresh and clean sheets, a bathroom and a small terrace. The master bedroom has a double bed and a dressing room, the second is a double sofa bed. The bathroom has a shower and towels.
We have a sweet black dog called Asia living on the ground floor. She is friendly and welcoming, we hope you don't mind it.
The Amaras villa is located in the territory of Augusta, outside the city, by the sea and surrounded by greenery, in one of the most exclusive areas of the territory. It is located halfway between the beautiful town of Augusta, where there are abounding churches and antiquities, alleys and some praiseworthy local and the fishing village of Brucoli, where the view and the palate will leave a beautiful memory of your holiday. The territory is characterized by high rocks, alternating with small bays, wonderful to observe especially in the morning, perfect with a boat ride. Famous local beaches are Sbarcatore and the Lighthouse, both of rocks. To enjoy a couple of hours at Sbarcatore, wear hiking boots and water to drink. The lighthouse is instead accessible and equipped with a bar, at least in the summer season. Visit it even in the evening. Places neglected but of notable interest are the hangar for airships of Augusta, the only one left in Europe, the ancient Greek colony of Megara Iblea and the remains of Thapsos, on the wonderful Magnisi peninsula, south of Augusta, out of town. The most beautiful Sandy beaches are located in the south at minimum 20 'driving, like Fontanebianche, exit Cassibile, Marchesa, exit Cassibile direction Avola, Eloro, exit Noto, direction lido di Noto, Vendicari, exit Noto direction Pachino, San Lorenzo, exit Known, direction Pachino.
