About this property

The Kelling - a self catering cottage that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

Detached, '3 Bed 3 Bath', Car Parking For 2 Cars & Garden

(1 Double Bed and 4 Single Twin Beds)

Cottage Summary:

'The Kelling' offers parking for two cars (many local cottages cannot offer proper off road parking), a private garden to sit out in, and is just a two minute walk from the Quay.

An entrance hall leads on to a good sized living room with an open fire place and a dining area, fitted kitchen with appliances, three double bedrooms (1 Double Bed and 4 Single Twin Beds) and one bathroom and two further separate shower rooms. There is a balcony off the main bedroom having views towards Blakeney Point.

Blakeney is a very sought after North Norfolk destination, it has a number of hotels offering places for you to eat in the evening, two local pubs that serve food, a highly regarded fish restaurant ' The Moorings ' , a mini supermarket, deli, fish mongers, and a number of little shops.

Blakeney harbour is a small quayside with boats moored up, and boat trips are usually available. There are lovely walks including out to Blakeney Point, famous for it's seal colony.

The Kelling, autumn break.
Warm, comfortable and spacious. Well equipt kitchen and lovely log burner. Bathrooms are quite tired. The showers in particular need some maintenance and a deep clean, to remove black mould. All in all a great property, would definitely stay again.

Above and beyond
We were a large family group and all the extra towels and bedding were provided. We come every year and had a wonderful time as usual.

Kelling, Blakeney Stay July 22
An excellent property offering high quality specification and value for money with a perfect large safe enclosed rear garden and private parking just a couple of mintues walk from the quay. The early evening sunsets from the upstairs balconey across the marshes to Morston are amazing.

Well equipped house in a beautiful setting.
We really enjoyed our week at this house. The house is large and interesting and very well equipped with everything you could need. The television had Netflix which enabled us to sign in to our account which pleased the children! The only disappointment was there was no games room. The description said games room and the photo's showed a pool table which the children were looking forward to playing on. However when we arrived there was no sign of it which was disappointing. Other than that we had a lovely week and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
